My daughter had been there for a year and a half, but two months ago, I pulled her out of that childcare centre for a few reasons;<br><br>1. The facilities and the design of the playground area were not safe for children. My daughter had an incident that caused her left eye to swell and gave her a deep cut. We had to take her to an urgent GP to have the cut sealed with glue. Another child’s finger was deeply cut by the door frame. Why is there an unprotected gap where the door opens and closes? The cubby house should never have been left raised off the ground, and those panel steps also need to be removed because children could injure their faces on them, including on the rough wooden poles. These hazards need to be addressed immediately.<br>2. When an incident like this happens, management should act immediately to make the unsafe areas safe and prevent other children from being injured. More than 30 days have passed, and this is still ongoing.<br>3. There was a lack of communication and care in keeping parents updated.<br>4. Childcare fees were all over the place and were not consistent from week to week. Sometimes, I had to keep contacting them to sort things out on my busy days.<br>5. The managers left without letting us know, which meant the situation at the childcare centre went downhill.<br>6. This company, Where We Grow, was sold to Sol & Leaf just a few weeks after my daughter was injured.<br><br>Please find somewhere else instead of this place.

We are very happy with this kinder. The teachers are caring, friendly, and supportive. My daughter enjoys going every day and has learned so much. Highly recommended!<br>Thanks to all educators

This is a great childcare with a very caring staff. My daughter is going there since she was 2.5years old. I never had issues till now. My daughter used to have very emotional drop-offs at the beginning & we are really grateful to Manu, Elsie, kirti and all others for helping her calm down everyday, All the educators are very kind and helpful. My daughter’s experience in the kinder room was fantastic with Manu. She was really comfortable & confident in the environment. We are very happy with this place & all the opportunities they provided for my child to learn & grow.

My daughter has been attending Where We Grow Mernda for quite a while now and we’ve had such a great experience. She’s autistic and has some behavioural challenges, and the staff have always been really understanding and supportive of her needs.<br><br>She’s in kinder this year and the whole kinder team has been fantastic. They’re always there to support her when she needs it and they’re great at keeping me updated on how she’s going.<br><br>I really appreciate how patient, understanding and accommodating everyone has been with her. It’s been really reassuring knowing she’s in good hands 😊

We are so grateful to have had Manu as Zayleigh’s kindergarten teacher. Manu has been incredibly caring, patient and supportive, and has created such a warm and welcoming environment for kids.<br>It has been wonderful to see Zay grow in confidence, learn new things and develop such a positive attitude towards kindergarten. We have had a wonderful experience with Manu as our daughter’s educator in Kinder. She is caring, patient and genuinely takes the time to understand each child as an individual.<br><br>Our daughter Zay has developed a lovely connection with Manu and feels comfortable, supported and encouraged in her care. Through arts and crafts, drawing, music, educational play, group activities, and creative learning, they encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and social skills. It is wonderful to see how they make learning fun and engaging while helping each child grow at their own pace. As our daughter prepares to start school next year, we feel so thankful that she has had such a wonderful team supporting her<br><br>Thank you all for making her kindergarten journey so special. What’s happening with this place? The center manager has left, the assistant manager has left, the nursery room leader has also left - who’s next? All the staff have left and there are no replacements?? The kinder teacher is always seen outside the room roaming around leaving the kids when she should be with them and teaching them. Are our kids in reliable hands? Where is the management team?!?! Do not send your kids here!!! There’s no upper management present who will tend to any parental concerns 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

She is truly one of the biggest reasons our experience with the centre has been so positive.Elsie has always been warm, welcoming, kind, and incredibly professional.
