Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

My three children have absolutely thrived at Goodstart Burleigh Waters, with my youngest currently in the Kindergarten program. Kylie, the ECT is an exceptional teacher. My son who finds sitting still tricky and learns best through movement has absolutely flourished under her care and guidance. Kylie thoughtfully purchased wobble cushions to support him during group times, helping him actively engage participate and succeed in his learning. Since being in Kindergarten he has learnt to write his name, is learning compound words, sits and retells storybooks, and has developed a genuine love and interest in learning. It has been so special watching his confidence and capabilities grow. I’m incredibly grateful my son has had the opportunity to be taught by Kylie and receive such a positive, nurturing start to school. We truly couldn’t be happier with our experience at Goodstart Burleigh Waters.

It turned out to be the best decision I could have made — now all three of my kids attend ( my eldest actually just started big school now) . The staff are lovely, nurturing and genuinely care about the children. Lee is a fantastic director and the centre really feels like a second home for our family.
