We love this centre so much. The staff are amazing and genuinely love the kids. My son's confidence soared once he started going here and he will miss it a lot now that he's off to school.

Our son has been attending Barnes Street Early Learning Centre for a couple of years now and I trust no group of people more than these. Having attended 3 daycare centres in the area before Barnes, the level of care, attention and engagement is far above what other places have had to offer. The children here aren’t just left in a room to amuse themselves until hometime, but are constantly engaged with age appropriate activities conducted with such love and support that our son considers the staff here as his best friends. Their business name of being Early Learning Centre truly encapsulates what happens here rather than just a building that keeps an eye on your kid. If/when a second child happens, life will be so much easier and full of comfort knowing we have such a wonderful place to send them to. With only a couple of weeks left here, we will miss the team so very much and be forever grateful for the amazingly positive influence they have had on our son’s life.

Highly recommend. Both my boys are there and they LOVE it. Nice small daycare. Centre is managed very well and great communication. All teachers are super lovely with long tenure. Daily updates with photos and everything they've done (sleep times, toilet, food etc). Will be sad to leave as we're moving away!

You won’t find a better centre than Barnes st. The educators and management as well as kitchen staff are all very kind and caring and my Lucas received the best care we could ask for. I am a first time mum, so I can be quite annoying, yet they were always happy to follow my requests and made sure Lucas got the extra attention needed. The only reason we left was having to move far away. If you want your little one to be loved and treated with compassion and kindness, you came to the right place. Lucas and I miss you all xx

Barnes ELC hold a special place in my and my family’s hearts. Our daughter spent 3 wonderful years at the centre and her time there was filled with love, learning and growth. Orietta and her wonderful team cannot be thanked enough for being our daughters home away from home where she loved spending her early days.

Really great daycare centre, small enough so everybody knows eachother and the staff are all great and caring. My girls loved going here and will really miss it. They are like a big family it’s a really nice atmosphere and really clean which is exactly what you need for your little ones. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

Both our boys went to Barnes street and we were very sad to leave when we moved away. Our boys both started at 7months old and stayed there until they were 2 and 3.5 years old. The staff went above and beyond what’s expected and taught them things I would never have done at home. What we loved most about this day care centre was that it was a large area with only a small amount of children. 36 max I believe. The educators knew our kids really well and had plenty of quality time with them. They mix the ages a lot which we loved. And whenever I had a question it was always answered so quickly. One of the staff even went above and beyond when I had to go on bed rest for pregnancy and helped collect my son on the way to work because I couldn’t walk/drive. All the staff have been there for many years which says something! I highly recommend sending your child to this centre. I know there are a lot of new big fancy centers around that are franchises, but if you want your child to be looked after and have plenty of time invested in them in a small family run center, send them to Barnes x

My daughter has been going to Barnes St daycare since she was 10 months old and has enjoyed each and every day. The staff have been consistently lovely, always happy to see her. The activities and the level of care taken has reassured me each and every time I drop her off 💕

Both my daughters have attended Barnes Street ELC meaning we have been enrolled for over 7 years! The things I loved most was the large outdoor space which is used as much as possible when not raining, the good security, the low staff turnover and the good communication on a daily basis with photos of what your child has been doing. Finding a centre where I was confident my daughters were being nurtured, taught and having fun was such a gift for me and my family. Thank you to everyone at Barnes Street ELC for your dedication to all the children.
