I completed my placement at this centre, and I can confidently say it is a truly family‑centred environment —-operated by a family, for families, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of every child. Under Anne’s leadership, the centre provides exceptional care and play‑based learning that supports each child’s individual needs. I was fortunate to be mentored by Christina, an extraordinary teacher whose empathy, guidance, and deep professional knowledge supported me throughout my study journey. Her encouragement played a significant role in my development into a teacher. I highly recommend this centre to my fellow students; it is a place where both children and educators are genuinely nurtured.. Thanks

It truly felt like home. My children absolutely loved their time at the centre. Every carer was amazing, caring, attentive, and genuinely supportive of each child's development. We only left because we moved out of the area, but I can't recommend this place enough.

My daughter has been here for almost two years and I’m sure she’ll graduate from here. Very kind and experienced staff with a family atmosphere. They’re not like a commercial CC and their staff stay here forever and seem no turnover at all. Awesome place and sincerely recommended!

It's taken me a long time (approximately 7years) to write this but just thinking about my experience has got my blood levels very high. I had a run in with Anne who threatened to call the police after I confronted her because my daughter had her Pokemon cards stolen off her. I'm not sure what planet she came from, but that seemed slightly overboard. I took my daughter out of the establishment immediately! I would not recommend this place to anyone.. ever.

My son attended Surrey Hills Child Care and Kindergarten last year. Due to an international move, he started midway through the year. We were apprehensive about how this would go, as he has mild ASD and has struggled with integrating into preschool in the past. I had no need to fear at all. I can honestly say the past year at Surrey Hills has been the best experience for our son and for us as a family. He is so happy there; he looks forward to going every day and asks me to get him there sooner in the morning. The team has been so accommodating about his special interests, especially his interests in bugs and nature, and really used them as tools to help him learn. He has socialised very well with the other kids and made some great friends. There is a huge garden the kids spend a lot of time in, which is great; they are outside most of every day. They do a lot of great activities like drawing and painting. The educators have spent a lot of time getting time getting to know each child individually and really care about each child. I cannot recommend Surrey Hills and the amazing team there more highly. I am only sad my son has to leave to go to school this year as he has been so happy

To any Parent looking for a friendly, caring and professional environment for their kids I would highly recommend Surry hills childcare. The Staff truly feel like part of the family, they take a personal and professional interest in the kids and their development. My kids loved going there over the last few years and looked forward to going each day. My 4 girls went to the Surrey hills childcare. It was a great experience, the staff are really caring and we really liked that the staff turnover is really low, on over 2 years only one staff member has left. Thanks Anne and the team for all your work with the girls, they will miss you !

Zara has blossomed since attending this daycare. Anne spent time with Zara one on one and she has absolutely loved it. The girls are all so warm and caring and this kids all seem so happy

Avoid it - Standards are dropping - I used this place for my 3 kids, first two were great, but as years go by, staff change. Very unhappy with level of care for 3rd child. Would come home VERY HUNGRY, with NAPPY RASH . i could tell he was not being fed properly, by his mood, the lack of poo and the amount of food he would eat after being collected from there. I asked nicely for them to use cream on the nappy rash - and did a surprise visit next day to check. My little boy was very unhappy, in obvious discomfort - probably from the nappy rash. Yes - they said - we are putting the cream on the rash. So I did what they did not expect. I checked the nappy - NO CREAM. Spoke to Ann, who initially suggested she had seen cream being put on my little boy, but when I advised her that another staff member had seen and agreed with me - there was no cream on - she became less friendly. I left it with Ann - and she was going to look into it and get back to me the next day, as I was a bit unhappy about being lied to. So later that day, Ann Kicked us out - without warning, leaving us without an opportunity to organize alternative childcare, and both parents work - and we can't afford to miss the day.... - Her explanation apparently was - because we didn't trust her... IMHO - Worse than Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy.....Nasty too...
