⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our daughter transitioned to Albert Waterways Children’s Centre in early 2026 at around 2½ years old, after being at her previous daycare since she was four months old. It was a big change for her, and we were very grateful for how accommodating AWCC was. They allowed us to stage her enrolment as days became available, kept us informed, and gave her time to settle in properly.

The staff are exceptional. Turnover seems very low, many educators have been there for years, and some have even had their own children attend the centre. That experience and continuity really shows.

The activities are consistently engaging and varied. Every morning there seems to be something new set up, with a great mix of crafts, games, learning activities and independent play. The range of equipment and resources available to the children is impressive.

What I particularly respect is the way AWCC is managed. The staff and managers are supportive and accommodating where they can be, but they are also straightforward, consistent and prepared to stand by their policies. It gives us confidence that decisions are being made based on the learning, safety, health and wellbeing of the whole centre community, rather than simply trying to keep customers happy.

AWCC feels much more like a genuine community than a childcare business. We feel very fortunate that our daughter attends and that our family is part of it.

Thank you to everyone at AWCC. We probably don’t say it enough, but we really appreciate what you do.

Perhaps the best endorsement is from our daughter herself, she is sometimes disappointed when the weekend arrives because AWCC is closed!
