Our experience with Uplyft cannington has been positive from day one. The educators bring so much care, enthusiasm, and patience to everything they do. We love the outdoor area, lots of space and a lot more natural then other centres.

We couldn’t be happier with Uplfyt Early Learning Cannington! From the moment we started, the educators have been so warm, caring and genuinely invested in the children. It’s clear that the team truly loves what they do, and they go above and beyond to make the kids feel safe, happy and supported.<br><br>The communication with families is fantastic, the centre has such a welcoming atmosphere, and we’ve loved seeing how much our child has grown in confidence, independence and learning.<br><br>We feel so comfortable knowing our child is in such wonderful hands every day. Couldn’t recommend Uplfyt Cannington highly enough!

My family’s experience with Uplyft Early Learning has unfortunately been extremely disappointing, particularly regarding the care and support provided to my niece, who has a disability and additional needs.<br><br>Our concerns include poor leadership and management, ongoing miscommunication, a lack of professionalism towards parents and family members, inadequate disability support and advocacy, and a concerning lack of empathy, respect and understanding when concerns were raised.<br><br>Most concerning was the way my niece’s behaviour was approached. We felt there was a disproportionate focus on, and at times targeting of, particular behaviours rather than genuinely trying to understand the reasons behind them, including whether they related to her disability, communication, environment or individual support needs.<br><br>A child with a disability should not be treated as a problem because they require additional understanding or adjustments. Early childhood education should be inclusive and child-centred, with educators working collaboratively with families to understand the child's needs, identify triggers, implement appropriate strategies and advocate for the child.<br><br>Unfortunately, we did not feel that my niece was adequately supported or advocated for. When our family attempted to raise concerns, we expected respectful communication, empathy, professionalism and a willingness from management to work constructively with us. Instead, our experience left us feeling unsupported, unheard and bullied!!!<br><br>Early learning services should be working towards positive outcomes where children develop a strong sense of identity, connection, wellbeing, confidence as learners and effective communication. Children should feel safe, respected, valued and included regardless of disability or additional needs.<br><br>Strong childcare also requires effective leadership, respectful relationships with children, genuine partnerships with families, inclusion and proper governance. In our experience, there were significant shortcomings across these areas. This is confirmed through the NQS rating of the service listed on ACECQA.<br><br>Parents and families place enormous trust in childcare providers. When a child has a disability, families need to know that their child will be understood, supported and included rather than repeatedly defined by their behaviour.<br><br>Based on what my niece and our family personally experienced, I believe substantial improvements are needed in leadership, management, communication, professionalism, disability inclusion, behavioural support, empathy and family engagement.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend Uplyft Early Learning.

I want to share my experience and encourage parents to be very careful when choosing this childcare. I have had serious concerns about the way my child has been treated and about the way the childcare service has communicated with me. My child has a disability, and I felt that staff were frequently complaining about her behaviour and the way they were expected to care for her. On one occasion, I was told that staff did not want to pick my child up because they were concerned about hurting their back. I have also had concerns about my child having marks on her when I picked her up. When I asked for an incident report regarding these marks, I was told that there was no incident report. I have also had a very negative experience with one particular worker, Nabbilee, and I felt that my child and I were being unfairly targeted. These experiences have left me extremely concerned about my child's safety, wellbeing and treatment while in care. I believe parents should ask questions, carefully document any concerns, and request written records of any incidents involving their children. Please do your own research and make sure you are comfortable with the childcare provider before enrolling your child.

As a parent, I believe that trust, transparency and proper communication are absolutely essential when choosing an early learning centre, especially for young children who are unable to clearly communicate what has happened to them.<br><br>Unfortunately, my experience with Uplyft Early Learning Cannington left me extremely concerned and disappointed. I became aware of an injury involving my child that had not been properly communicated to me, and when I attempted to obtain further information and documentation, I did not feel that my concerns were handled appropriately or transparently.<br><br>I was also concerned by the inconsistency in communication, frequent changes in educators and the level of staffing and supervision I observed. Some comments and interactions regarding my child’s behaviour and settling also raised concerns for me about whether my child’s individual needs were being properly understood and supported.<br><br>Over time, I completely lost confidence in the centre and no longer felt comfortable leaving my child in their care. For me, once a parent loses that sense of trust, it becomes very difficult to continue.<br><br>I believe parents should feel comfortable asking questions, requesting documentation and speaking up whenever something does not feel right. You know your child better than anyone, and concerns should never be dismissed or made to feel insignificant.<br><br>Due to the seriousness of my concerns, I have taken the appropriate steps to have the matter formally raised with the relevant authority.<br><br>Communication: 0/10<br>Transparency: 0/10<br>Overall experience: 0/10<br><br>Parents — please do your own research, ask questions and make sure you feel completely comfortable with the standard of care before entrusting anyone with your child.

I couldn’t be happier with the care and support provided by this childcare centre. The educators are caring, approachable and genuinely committed to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children. My known families has the same positive experiences.<br><br>The centre provides wonderful learning experiences through play, creativity, outdoor activities and meaningful interactions. I particularly appreciate how the educators take the time to understand each child’s individual interests, personality and development.<br><br>The communication with families is also excellent, and the team consistently goes above and beyond to make children feel comfortable, valued and included. It is clear that the wellbeing, safety and development of the children are at the heart of everything they do.<br><br>A fantastic centre with a dedicated team of educators. I would highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring, professional and welcoming childcare environment. ❤️

Parents, particularly those with young or non-verbal children, please be extremely cautious before considering Uplyft Early Learning Cannington.<br><br>Coming from a legal professional background, I found the way my concerns regarding my daughter were documented, communicated and handled completely unacceptable.<br><br>I discovered an injury to my daughter that had not been reported to me, was refused access to incident reports concerning my own child, and experienced extremely poor and inconsistent communication. I also had serious concerns regarding staffing levels, the constant change of educators and comments made about the difficulty of caring for and settling my daughter, despite there being only two toddlers in the room at times.<br><br>Based on my personal interactions with the educator involved, I had serious concerns about the standard of care and professionalism demonstrated towards my daughter, and I no longer felt comfortable leaving her in their care.<br><br>The handling of this situation completely destroyed my trust in the centre. My concerns have now been formally escalated to the relevant regulatory authority.<br><br>Management: 0/10 | Communication: 0/10 | Overall experience: 0/10<br><br>If you genuinely care about the safety and wellbeing of your child, particularly a child who cannot yet speak for themselves, please ask questions, request proper documentation and advocate strongly for them.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with uplyft early learning centre. The educators are very friendly and caring, and my son always feels happy and comfortable here. We love the regular updates and learning stories—they really show how much effort the educators put into each child. Thank you for taking such good care of him ❤️

All i can say is incredible care and attention is given to each child by lovely educators. We’ve seen such wonderful growth in our child’s confidence, communication, and social skills. It gives us peace of mind knowing our child is in such capable hands. We are not just getting clear communication and daily updates but also thoughtful strategies to support our child’s development. It helps us feel connected and involved in our child’s day. Highlight: Big natural playarea, healthy meals, professional hands-on experience educators, creative activities everyday. This daycare centre has a spacious outdoor area where kids can run around and play freely with their friends. I love how the educators design a variety of programs that spark curiosity about nature, different cultures, insects, and marine life. The meals are also excellent—my child, who is a picky eater at home, eats very well there!
