Our children have been attending this centre for the past four years, and we could not recommend it more highly. They have had such a wonderful experience here, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, love and support they have received over the years.<br><br>The structure and programs are great, but what has made this place truly special for us are the connections our children have built with their educators. We will carry some of these educators in our hearts forever — especially Santosh, Madhavi, Lina, Danni, and many others who have played such an important part in our children’s lives.<br><br>One thing we particularly appreciated was the continuity of care. Many educators moved up with our children as they progressed through the different rooms, allowing those beautiful relationships to continue and giving them such a strong sense of security and belonging.<br><br>The director is approachable, genuinely listens to families, and is committed to understanding and accommodating individual needs wherever possible. Mel at the front desk is also absolutely lovely and has always made us feel welcome.<br><br>Most importantly, our children have been incredibly happy here. They have grown, learned, made beautiful connections and genuinely loved their time at the centre. After four years, it is very emotional to say goodbye to a place and to people who have been such a big part of their early childhood.<br><br>We are leaving with very happy memories and enormous gratitude. I couldn’t recommend this centre more highly. ❤️

Both my kids have thrived at this absolutely wonderful centre. The staff truly care about your kids (plenty have been here for years and that says something) and are always happy to accommodate you with last minute requests. They’re communicative and take constructive feedback on board.<br><br>Would like to specifically rebut a negative review and state that the staff at the centre have always been professional and respectful in their dealings with the children (my first has been here for over 4 years - from nursery all through kindergarten and we know most - if not all- the staff).<br><br>Moving forward, the centre had to close for a 6 month renovation and management at the time did the best they could to ensure that the kids and their relationships with their friends and educators were prioritised during that period while relocating to alternative Goodstart locations.<br><br>Since returning to this centre there’s been a change in leadership and I can say that marked improvements have been made since that happened (thanks Narelle and Mel and the team!). The spaces are well thought out and engaging for the children. The nursery has a dedicated sleeping room and the foyer is a very welcoming and relaxing environment.<br><br>Regarding the centre generally, the children enjoy a freshly cooked meal in-house (shout out to Siti), and the centre has a very large and secure outdoor play area for the kids - having now moved and looked at other daycare centres I can say with certainty that those that attend Goodstart Flemington are very lucky in how much outdoor space they have.<br><br>My kids will miss this place and the special bonds they have formed with the educators (special mentions to Santosh & Madavhi for their specific brand of warmth and empathy, but really everyone who has supported and cared for my children during our time here 🫶🏼).<br><br>If you’re a parent who is anxious about their child starting daycare (whether it’s their first time or not), go ahead and book a tour, speak to the staff, ask all the questions - see for yourself ☺️

It has taken me some time to write a review. My son went to this school for a year and when I found out what they do to children at this day care I was extremely let down, I will never recommend this school to anyone ever. I have had 3 of my friends pull out their child for similar reasons.

We are incredibly happy with the care and attention our child receives at Goodstart Flemington. The teachers are warm, nurturing, and truly dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment. Our 2-year-old has been thriving—learning new words, socializing with friends, and enjoying fun activities every day. We appreciate the open communication, the patience of the staff, and the love they show to all the children. It gives us peace of mind knowing our little one is in such great hands.
