State Government Approved Programs
Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

The educators embed teaching and learning into play experiences, helping the children to make sense of the world around them. This is how the children learn about how things work and develop important foundational relationships and skills.
The primarily child-directed, play-based curriculum ensures that the children are engaged in their learning. They are encouraged to take the lead, developing their negotiation, risk taking, problem solving and social skills. The educators observe the children and help to challenge them by extending their learning and interests.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.
Goodstart Early Learning employs qualified and skilled educators who are dedicated to making a difference to the children in their care. My name is Emma Spiers and I am the center director here at Goodstart Oxley.
I have worked for Goodstart early learning for 12 years and have been at Oxley since 2011, children are our future and I love and am very passionate about teaching children and watching them grow!
I have had great opportunities to work alongside some of our fantastic leadership team within in Goodstart which has taught me that the first five years are so important in a child’s life.
Every child is unique and at Goodstart Oxley we thrive on supporting every child, as every child deserve a good start in life.

We had a wonderful experience with this childcare centre. Our eldest daughter completed both her childcare and kindy program here, and it gave her a really solid foundation before starting school. She absolutely loved coming every day and built great relationships with the other children and all the educators.<br><br>The educators are fantastic, caring, attentive, and genuinely great with kids. They always made us feel confident that our daughter was in good hands.<br><br>Our younger son has now started at the same centre, and we're just as happy with the care he's receiving.<br><br>We highly recommend this centre.

Goodstart Oxley has been the best for me and my family , both my boys have been here my youngest has been at this Center just over two years and it’s never failed us all staff members have been beautiful my son is always coming home saying how much he loves the educators and his little friends 🙏 Emma is very lovely and always goes above and beyond to help my family! Could not recommend this Center enough 100/10🥳 my boy also learns so much everyday , he comes home and tells me so many facts and things he has been taught that day! Absolutely amazes me with the patience they have for him as well!
