Amazing Centre and Staff! I was hesitant to place my daughter in a new day care setting as we moved suburbs and previous one was too far to travel and Sunkids Oxley is literally 5 mins from home. My daughter from the day she started till now has become filled with joy and learning new things so quickly and most of all she is the happiest she has ever been since joining. The staff are always understanding and more then willing to help and provide advice when needed. This is by far the best centre and honestly the kindest and understanding staff I have come across. Thankyou so much for your dedication and commitment, you have made a mother very happy indeed 🥰

Sunkids Oxley is a purpose-built centre that has been providing families within South West Brisbane high-quality education and care for over 15 years. The centre is home to one of Sunkids’ longest-serving teams of educators providing families with consistent care throughout generations. This multicultural team speaks over 14 different languages and looks for innovative ways to enrich learning experiences through the range of cultures and languages.
Sunkids Oxley caters for 129 children from 6 weeks to school age throughout seven fully-serviced, modern learning rooms designed specifically for each age group.
The centre features a large outdoor play area complete with sandpits, bike tracks, rock river bed, obstacle course, slides and hill mounds. Adjacent is a large veranda allowing for outdoor play in all weather conditions.
Within our rooms, you’ll find beautiful places where children can feel safe and at home. We provide a variety of modern learning resources, cosy nooks, tranquil reading hubs, and engaging play spaces, all of which supports quality interactions amongst our children and educators.
Families have access to a private parent lounge including a breastfeeding area, public library, and a quiet reading space within our foyer for families and children to relax and enjoy books together.
Every child at Sunkids Oxley benefits from our standard inclusions such as on-site chefs preparing nutritious gourmet meals daily, complimentary extra-curricular yoga, music and sports programs, complimentary nappies and linen, and access to state-of-the-art learning resources.

State Government Approved Programs
Our new extra-curricular program, led by qualified and experienced Sunkids Coaches, is available to every child at no additional cost to families. Sessions are held three days a week and feature exciting, ever-changing activities such as sports, movement, music, yoga, meditation, games, and dance.
These programs are thoughtfully tailored to suit all age groups, from Nursery to Kindergarten, extending and enhancing our Sunkids Curriculum.
At Sunkids, we have developed our own play-based curriculum which encompasses an emergent style of learning. This means that we listen to each child’s interests and ideas and tailor the learning experiences to meet their individual needs and interests.
Our Educators incorporate key elements such as literacy, mathematics and science into the children’s play experiences, exposing them to these key educational foundations in the most engaging and exciting way.
Providing children ownership over their learning and environments results in our centres being filled with confident and enthusiastic learners who are proud of who they are and what they are capable of.
At Sunkids, we believe nutrition is foundational to a child’s growth and well-being. Active young minds and bodies crave optimal nutrition, and our expert Food Coordinator’s meticulously design seasonal menus to meet this essential need.
Every dish, freshly concocted, not only satisfies even the most selective tastes but also provides a substantial portion of their daily nutritional requirements. Beyond the plate, we integrate the essence of nutrition into our educational framework.
