I could not talk more highly of this center and the staff that put safety, care and professionalism at the forefront of everything they do. So embracing and welcoming of all, on top of the constant guidance they give to help my son thrive and grow in all environments. Very happy and very grateful!!

SDN Lois Barker is a village, rather than a daycare. My son and daughter have done nothing but grow and thrive surrounded by staff that truly love their job. The staff are so supportive, friendly and have the kids best interests at heart. Having a child with ASD, it was extremely important to find the right daycare for him. I'm thankful everyday we got the phone call to offer a spot.

Our elder son attended SDN Lois Barker from 1 to 5 years of age - the staff have always been incredibly nurturing, enthusiastic, supportive and genuinely interested in the development of the children in their care. We had no hesitation in enrolling our second child at SDN earlier this year and once again feel extremely confident in the care our child is receiving.
SDN Lois Barker is a 44-place centre in Waterloo, offering early childhood education and child care for children from 6 weeks to school age.
The centre is part of SDN Children's Services, which is a not for profit organisation.
It's a small and calm centre which families call their "oasis in the city." The centre has a vibrant outdoor area and well-resourced classrooms, to support the interests and needs of each child.
SDN Lois Barker also runs an autism specific program to support children with autism to transition to school. The SDN Lois Barker program is based on the successful program run at SDN Beranga Autism Specific Preschool, which has successfully supported autistic children and their families to meet their goals for more than ten years.
