We believe in the following fundamental principles:

Each child is a unique individual, and we celebrate and honour their individuality. We tailor our teaching and learning practices to accommodate the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of every child, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and support.

Curiosity and creativity are essential aspects of children's development. By fostering a sense of wonder and encouraging children to think outside the box, we empower them to become engaged and innovative learners who explore and discover the world around them in creative ways.

The emotional wellbeing and safety of every child are of utmost importance to us. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, cared for, and free to express their emotions in healthy and constructive ways.

We are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices within our Centre. By implementing initiatives such as herb gardens, nature-based activities, and the use of recycled materials, we teach children the importance of caring for the environment and living in harmony with nature, fostering a sense of responsibility in our young leaders of the future.

We acknowledge and respect the unique cultural heritage of Australia's Indigenous peoples. We are committed to incorporating Indigenous perspectives and practices into our program to promote understanding, respect, reconciliation, and cultural diversity among our children and families.

We take a holistic approach to education, recognizing that children's development is multifaceted and interconnected. We value and prioritize partnerships with families and the broader community. We believe in the importance of collaborative relationships to support children's growth and development. By working closely with families and community members, we create a network of support and resources that contribute to the holistic well-being of every child.

I’m so proud to be part of the GrowingTree Early Education Petrie community. The centre offers a nurturing, inclusive, and family-focused environment where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn each day. The educators are genuinely passionate about providing high-quality care and meaningful, play-based learning experiences that support every child’s individual needs, interests, and development. The relationships built with families are based on open communication, trust, and collaboration, which creates a strong sense of belonging for everyone. The leadership team is supportive and ensures that both children and educators are valued and encouraged to grow. It’s inspiring to see how children develop confidence, curiosity, and independence through carefully planned programs and everyday interactions. GrowingTree Petrie truly provides a positive and engaging environment where children thrive and educators feel proud to contribute to their early learning journey.

We are so grateful to have found such a lovely centre for our children to attend. Our children 2yro & 4yro have attended this centre for 1 year and 3 months with exposure to all of the rooms from nursery to kindergarten. From the moment we commenced our family felt welcomed and like a home away from home for our children. We like that the educators build relationships with all of us, the facilities are modern and very clean. Our children love the water play area in the summer and the large outdoor play areas.
