Numdaji Kwei (meaning ‘white mate’) acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations as the tradition owners of the land on which it stands. They respectfully recognise Elders both past, present and future.
They also provide a warm and welcoming environment that is nurturing, secure and free from bias,
where each child is respected as a unique competent and capable individual with their own needs experiences, abilities and interests.
Numdaji Kewi Children's Centre also foster a mutually respectful partnership with all families; collaborating with all families, acknowledging diversity, religious beliefs and cultural identities and encourage all families & community contribution to the program and within the Centre.
The committee will endeavour to support the ongoing development and growth of the Centre as they believe a Play Based approach enriches and fosters children’s interests, curiosity, imagination, confidence and abilities. They also provide a balanced and nutritious diet for children through a seasonal and rotating weekly menu.
They will also provide a holistic program that promotes and extends on all that is advocated within National Quality Framework and The Early Year Learning Framework for Australia.
