Gowrie Malabar has been awesome for our 2 year old son. The staff are super friendly and genuinely care about the kids. Payal and Petra are absolute legends — always warm, helpful, and amazing with the little ones. My child always comes home happy and full of stories about their day. The centre is clean, organised, and packed with great activities and play areas. They keep us updated really well too, which makes life easier. Overall, it’s just a safe, happy place where the kids learn, play, and actually look forward to going. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love Gowrie. The teachers are amazing, the admin team is wonderful, and we feel truly grateful to have such caring people looking after our kids. One of the directors, Payal, has been especially lovely — her kindness and presence make such a positive difference. I’m still new to Gowrie and haven’t met all the directors yet, but having Payal there has already made our experience feel so much more welcoming. Of course, teachers and supporters like Jodie and the rest of the team are also incredibly warm and supportive, and we appreciate them so much. We love Gowrie malabar. Love all the educators. It’s long hrs, which is great for shift workers. Very family and community oriented. My daughter loves it, which makes dropping her off easy. Great big out door areas to play which was important for me.

Gowrie Malabar has been a great centre for our 2 boys. A warm, caring and professional team of educators lead by a passionate director. We came from another centre where a clear lack of care, cleanliness and passion for children was obvious. Lucky to have found Gowrie Malabar. Thank you to the entire team for the 3 years of safe, fun, interactive and educated growth for our little ones.

This is an add-on to my previous review. After withdrawing my son from Gowrie just two days into the program, we were still charged for four additional weeks, totalling over $2,000. I reached out to explain our situation, hoping for some understanding or flexibility — but there was none. They stuck rigidly to their policy with zero consideration for the fact that our child was no longer attending, and that the environment clearly wasn’t the right fit for him. It’s incredibly disheartening to see such a lack of compassion from a centre that presents itself as family-focused. Extremely disappointed — I would urge other families to ask detailed questions about the fine print before enrolling.

Avoid this place – all they care about is your money. I enrolled my son at Gowrie Malabar while looking for a new preschool. He attended two short sessions before I realised it wasn’t the right fit for us. I immediately informed the centre. Despite only attending twice, they insisted on charging me for a full 4-week notice period –over $800 – with zero flexibility or understanding. I explained the situation and asked if they could waive or reduce the fee. The answer was a flat-out no. Our previous preschool didn’t charge us a cent when we left with no notice, but Gowrie was completely uncompromising. They showed no care for our individual circumstances – it felt purely transactional. This experience left me disappointed and frustrated. If you’re looking for a centre that values families and treats you with fairness and compassion, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Gowrie NSW. The educators are warm, caring, and truly attentive to each child’s wellbeing. Our daughter feels safe, supported, and excited to attend each day. The centre fosters a nurturing and inclusive environment where the children are supported to grow with confidence.

Our children (2.5yo and 15mo) have absolutely thrived since starting at the Gowrie Centre in Malabar. The level of care and genuine interest in the wellbeing and development of the kids is second to none. Thank you to the whole team for their continued dedication and hard work.

Payal and the team are so amazing with our kids, and they absolutely love the daycare! After being at a previous commercial daycare we really notice the difference of gowrie as a not for profit. We can’t speak more highly of the educators and feel so lucky to have such good care so close to home.

After 8 years with Gowrie and 3 kids later I can’t give enough praise and thanks to all the wonderful staff for the love and support they tirelessly give to all the kids. It’s like one big family. Each of our kids are very different and each got the attention and care they needed.
