Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

My boy has been in this centre for 2.5yrs (started from nursery and now prepping to move to pre-kindy). We have been through many changes in leadership and thought I should give this centre a fair review, so future parents don’t misunderstand it from previous management. I would say that with current leadership team ( Emily as centre director and Olga as assistant director), things finally get on the right track. We went through 3 centre director changes in last 2.5yrs, this one is by far the best. We had tough times, and I genuinely considered moving my boy to a different place; but since Emily stepped in and having Olga back, I can see things are different now (in a good way!) Educators are much happier and no more sad departures. It’s a shame watching such a good team still suffering negative impacts from previous incompetent leaderships. I encourage all prospective parents to check this place out. It has beautiful educators who truly care about the children; you can see that they genuinely love them; it’s not just a job for them.

Had my 2 month old here for a very short time. I realised when I brought him home that they had missed giving him a feed due to staff error. That meant a 2 month old went without eating for 4 hours (he usually would eat every 2 hours). Had a meeting with the director at the time and they explained how they had passed my baby around trying to stop him crying as they couldn't figure out why he was "inconsolable", no one thought to try him with a feed or give me a call. I asked the director why another feed wasn't offered even if they thought he had one recently, to which I got a reply "some parents don't allow kids to be overfed". Really? I never expressed that my baby shouldn't be allowed extra feeds, I even packed extra bottles and formula just in case. There also seemed to be a lot of staff changes and no consistency within the nursery. I have waited a while to write this review as some of the long term staff did seem to be very genuine and caring, however I asked for the incident to be investigated and I have yet to hear back from Goodstart. I was completely heartbroken when I thought of my baby crying out of hunger. What happened was complete negligence. It seems that there was no further investigation done, no repercussions for staff involved and no measures taken to prevent it happening again.
