Whenever I get to drop off or pick up my nephews from LEAD childcare, the staff are always so lovely and the boys are always having a ball. I love being able to see them out on the grass, running around chasing their friends - it’s soo good to see a centre within Mackay with real natural grass yards as well! I also hear they’re really encouraged to lead their own play too, which is fantastic for their development. The whole place just feels so warm and welcoming!

A couple of months ago, I made the decision to move from a busy centre to a smaller, stand-alone centre in Blacks Beach. Being closer to home and having fewer children has been such a positive change for our family, especially with less exposure to the usual childcare illnesses. The communication and knowledge of the Centre Manager made the transition smooth and easy. I’m so glad we made the move.

Two of my children have attended this service, with one still currently enrolled while my eldest has now moved on to school. I absolutely love seeing all the fun and engaging experiences that are planned for the children. The nurturing care they provide to my baby and the safe, welcoming environment they create gives me so much peace of mind. The staff are so down-to-earth, approachable, and always communicate clearly about my child’s day. I couldn’t be happier with the care and support they provide.

The staff are what truly make this centre. Those women look after my boys and fill their days when I can't be there. It's great to see them receiving some support from their head office to complement the effort the educators put into the kids.

I had to go in there last week and whilst I was there I heard the staff yelling at the children, and one baby was crying for 30 minutes while the staff were making them a bottle and getting distracted talking to each other.
