Walking into AEIOU in Camira is like walking into a safe kiddy paradise. Filled with laughter and happiness. My son and I were privileged to be able to enrol with this centre for a short period. We had tried mainstream daycare with our son before and were left disappointed. My son is ASD level 2 and non-verbal. He has always had trouble making friends, being in close proximity to other children and wild outbursts. In only a short time my son has attended, he has made some friends there, he even makes friends at the park! He is not nervous being around other children, his outbursts have calmed down dramatically...he is also trying to speak more and has started saying a few more words. The educators, OTS, Speech therapists and behavioural therapists at AEIOU have done wonders, they are all by far the most amazing people I have ever met. They really work along beside you and only want the best for their children. They go above and beyond, they are all caring, compassionate, understand, patient and kind. If your child is put into the 'gumnut' room well you will be blessed to have 'Sacha' she is the lead educator of that room and she is my biggest inspiration. She is beautiful and kind, she loves the children and she is always making them laugh and offering a safe space. She is passionate about her job and you can tell, you can really tell that she is there every day because she truly enjoys helping children. A huge shout out to 'Trudy' as well, she is head office. She is one of the kindest people I have met. She made our enrolment a breeze and handled any other questions we had. This is a serene centre to send your child. I cannot even express to you all how unbelievable all of the people that work at this centre are, they are true gifts given to us. Thank you AEIOU Camira for not only helping my son, but for inspiring me to be the best mum I can possibly be.
