Best centre ever I went there when I was 1-5 and started primary in 2018 and I’m in highschool next year!

I have 2x kiddies at this centre, and it's so great! It has a small, community vibe that you simply don't get at bigger centres. We've been part of the WMCC since 2020 and always felt part of the family. The Educators are amazing here too, always up for a chat if I've ever had any questions. This year my son is in the pre-school room and they've really stepped things up with their current program.

I am sharing my honest experience with this center to help other parents make informed decisions. The quality of the experience at this center can vary, as it largely depends on the individual educator. While I have raised multiple concerns with the committee, their response has been inconsistent, sometimes they addressed the issues, while at other times, no action was taken. Miss Nicole, the former director, was exceptional. However, I ultimately decided to withdraw my child from the center due to incidents where my child was punched and bitten by other children. Although this occurred a few years ago, I felt it was important to share my experience to help parents evaluate whether this center is right for their child.

I have two children at this centre. One in the preschool room (4-5 yrs) and she will begin school next year. My other who is now just over 1 is in the Joey room (6 weeks to 2 yr). I can honestly say since the day they both started at around the ages of 4-6 months that the love, the care, the education, the thoughtfulness that goes into my kids wellbeing and their educational upbringing is outstanding. I have never ever dropped my kids off thinking is this the right place for them. I have always felt so confident that my kids are so loved and so well looked after. It’s an extension of our family in so many ways for our kids. The educators are a part of their lives five days a week and I honestly don’t know what we’re going to do when my daughter goes to school next year, other than cry! At least I’ll still have our son in there for another 4 years before he’s off to school too! If you’re looking for a centre that gives love and care as if the kids were their own and spends a great deal of thought into their education at all the levels then this is the perfect small community run day care centre for you. My one year old walks through the gate in the morning like it’s nobody’s business with a smile on his face and all the kids gather around to say good morning and instantly play. My daughter has been there for so long she knows every kid, every parent of each kid and every educator. It truly is a and has been a special place to watch our kids grow in their early years.

We have been more than happy Winston Mall Children’s Centre for our Children’s pre-school education. The Centre builds a great community spirit and supportive environment for the Children to develop and grow. The Educators were engaged in the children’s educational experience and would often offer the opportunity to extend our children when they were showing additional skills in a particular area. We would recommend this Centre for any young family.

Had a great experience with Winston Mall Children's Centre. My daughter attended for a number of years. The staff were always professional, friendly and took the time to get to know her. Great resources and routines for the kids.

My son went here in 2020 start of 2021 and had a great experience, his educators were amazing. Their preschool graduation was insanely cute and I was impressed with the effort that was taken, his grad picture in gap and gown now hangs on our wall waiting for the grown up version to eventually sit beside it.

I am sharing my honest review about this centre so that other parents can make informed decisions. This is a good centre but it totally depends on the educator whether a kids enjoys it or not. Miss Brittany has a very poor attitude and is very partial to some of the kids whom she babysits after hours and knows them personally. I did raise complaints about this to the committee and some actions were taken but after few weeks Miss Brittany would be back to her original self displaying her pathetic attitude.Eventually had to remove my kid from the centre .This was few years back and hopefully things have changed now and Brittany is gone.

Our daughter has been attending the centre since mid-2020. We have loved the way the staff have helped our family transition to this new situation. It has been a change for all of us and the staff have all been very patient as we adjusted. We feel so cared for by the staff. I believe it is a wonderful benefit of it being a little centre. We truly feel that all of the staff know our daughter and our family. Our daughter is learning some wonderful skills and knowledge. She constantly surprises us and I say "she must have learnt that at daycare". We love seeing the photos and reading about what the children have done each day! We all toured the centre before my daughter started. We were so happy with what we experienced that we didn't even explore other venues. We could see that the staff were lovely, the children were happy and the facilities were great. I thoroughly recommend Winston Mall Children's Centre.
