Meet the team

Meet the team

From a child’s first orientation, the educators at Northmead Early Education Centre work with every family to foster respectful, collaborative and supportive relationships. These relationships continue to flourish and grow through a child’s first time at the centre and help them to develop a strong sense of belonging. Most of all, the educators value the diverse knowledge and experiences of every child and their family.

Families are warmly encouraged to participate in the centre’s programs and activities. This includes sharing a delicious chef-prepared meal with their child, participation in special events throughout the year, or sharing a special skill or interest. The centre also hosts events that provide families with opportunities to connect with each other and get to know the other families in the Service, for example, family picnics.

Educators share updates and learning about each child through the Storypark and Xplor apps to keep parents connected to their child’s time at the centre. The Service also holds various information sessions and meetings throughout the year that encourage parental input into the program and curriculum. In addition to 1:1 meetings to discuss their child’s progress, parents are always welcome each day to chat with the friendly NEEC team.

Dear Carina & Paul, Thank you for your kind words, knowing that you appreciate the effort we put into our natural environment and nutritious meals truly warms our heart. Our philosophy has a significant emphasis on the natural outdoor environment and it recognises the importance nature can have on the children’s holistic development. Antonela.

What an amazing centre! All the staff are passionate and devoted to going that extra mile, ensuring that each child is cared for and safe. My son loves this daycare and has such a special bond with his wonderful room leader Bronte. Since he started, Bronte has supported his emotions and needs as he navigates through toddler life. This makes me feel very comfortable when I drop him off, as I know he is being looked after by the best educators possible. Antonela, (the director) is truly one of a kind. She knows the names of all the kids and greets them every morning with a warm smile and friendly hello. I love that she takes the time to talk to all the parents, whether it be a quick chat in the hallway, or a sit-down discussion to talk through a child’s development. She’s an absolute gem. The variety of food they serve is very tasty and nutritious. They have an incredible cook who really knows their stuff, and is very switched on when it comes to wholesome ingredients, nutritional knowledge and the preparation of how food is served to kids at different stages of their feeding journey. It’s the personal touches that Northmead Early Education Centre provide that would make anyone appreciate the quality of care and respect shown to both the kids and parents. I’m so thankful I found this place.

Northmead early education centre have become like family to us. The educators treat our children like their own. My daughter loves it there, they nurture her interests like bugs, space and dramatic play and encourage her to be the best version of herself that she can be. Highly recommend!
