Wollondilly Family Day Care is a network of trained, experienced and registered educators who provide care for other people's children in their own homes. Our educators are carefully seleced and supervised by our Coordination Unit. Our Educators and Coordination Unit are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS) to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
Children aged between the age of 6 weeks and 12 years are nurtured in a small group setting and through the educator's individualised programming, are encouraged to further develop their skills and knowledge.
Wollondilly Family Day Care uses the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as a guide to assist us in working with children fron birth to 5 years. We use the Framewoirk in partnership with families, children's first and most influential educators, to develop learning programs responsive to children's ideas, interests, strengths and abilities and recognise that children learn through their play.
For the school aged children we follow the My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care Children. This Framework aims to extend and enrich children's wellbeing and development in school age care settings, It acknowledges that children need a place to engage in a range of play and leisure experiences that allow them to feel happy, safe and relax. It also recognises that they need time to interact with friends, practice social skills, solve problems, try new activities and learn life skills.
Hours of care are flexible and can be matched to your family's needs. Care may be available on weekends or overnight. Types of care provided include full time, part time, respite, casual care for children of shift workers, before and after school and vacation care.
Childcare fees will vary as educators are running their own small business and are able to set their own fees with guidance from Wollondilly Family Day Care Coordination Unit.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is available for eligible families.
