I would highly recommend this school to anyone needing care for their kids. Teachers have been nothing short of amazing with my kids. Always very polite, always smiling and very informative of my kids days. If my kids have had an accident like a fall etc at school, I get a call straight away. Gives me peace knowing my kids are in safe hands.

Gillieston Heights’ outdoor environment features four thoughtfully designed play spaces with dry river beds, sandpits, mud kitchens, bike pathways, garden beds, climbing structures, tepees, and a basket swing. One of the standout features is the ‘bush kinder’ environment, encouraging free play and exploration in a natural setting. This area includes a mud pit, climbing hill, and an abundance of natural elements to inspire curiosity and discovery.
As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, St Nicholas Early Education Gillieston Heights provides families with a connected educational pathway, including *greater priority enrolment at local Catholic schools such as St John the Baptist Primary School, Maitland, and Holy Spirit Infants School, Abermain.
