This stunning education centre boasts magnificent outdoor play environments and a range of unique features that local families will love. Since opening its doors in 2020, our Gillieston Heights centre has become an essential part of the community, offering exceptional environments, educators, and learning experiences to give children the best start in life while supporting working parents and carers.
Gillieston Heights’ outdoor environment features four thoughtfully designed play spaces with dry river beds, sandpits, mud kitchens, bike pathways, garden beds, climbing structures, tepees, and a basket swing. One of the standout features is the ‘bush kinder’ environment, encouraging free play and exploration in a natural setting. This area includes a mud pit, climbing hill, and an abundance of natural elements to inspire curiosity and discovery.
As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, St Nicholas Early Education Gillieston Heights provides families with a connected educational pathway, including *greater priority enrolment at local Catholic schools such as St John the Baptist Primary School, Maitland, and Holy Spirit Infants School, Abermain.
