In our pre-school rooms, the 100 languages of children are deeply embedded in our Reggio inspired approach to learning. We understand that children communicate and make meaning through art, music, movement, storytelling, imaginative play and more… This philosophy is central to our curriculum, where we create a rich, stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and express themselves in diverse, creative ways. By fostering these varied modes of communication, we help children develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their world.
At HazelGrove, being “ready” goes far beyond academic basics. At HazelGrove, promoting healthy lifestyles is a priority and aligns with Element 2.1.3: Healthy Lifestyle of the National Quality Standard. We are proud to foster healthy eating habits and physical activity as part of our daily program.
Our services are Nut Free and Allergy Aware; we cater to a range of dietary needs including allergies, intolerances, and religious or cultural requirements. We also provide age-appropriate purees for our infants.

My daughter had her first week at Hazelgrove and as a nervous parent and reluctant to put her in at 8mths the care staff were very welcoming and reassuring, I checked in on the first day for an update and they told me she was happy and enjoyed meeting new people and exploring her new environment. It's early stages still but I think my daughter will be very happy here and the staff are lovely and easy to talk too.

Our son just started here and we felt so comfortable as soon as we walked in! Staff are caring and pay attention to each childs individual care needs. Love that the outdoor play area is under cover as well 😊.

From the very beginning, the educators have shown so much genuine care, love and dedication towards her. Knowing that she is happy, cared for and in safe hands every day makes such a huge difference as a parent.<br><br>What really stands out to us about Hazelgrove is the values and philosophy of the service. It’s clear that these aren’t just words written on a page, they genuinely influence the way the educators teach, interact with and care for the children. There is such a strong focus on creating meaningful experiences, following the children’s interests and supporting them as individuals.<br><br>We are so grateful to have found a centre where we feel completely comfortable leaving our daughter each day, knowing she is surrounded by educators who genuinely care about her.
