Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

My name is Kylie Turnbull and I have been in the Early Childhood Education and Care profession for more than 20 years. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and have been the Director at Goodstart Robina Goldwater Ave since 2002.
At Goodstart Robina Goldwater Ave our Centre Vision is “Nurturing and Teaching Tomorrow’s Leaders” and this very closely aligns with my personal pedagogy. I believe that the opportunity for children to participate in high quality learning experiences and develop relationships in their first five years will provide them with a great foundation for future success in life. I am passionate about ensuring children have access to a high-quality play-based educational program in an environment where they feel safe, secure, and supported.
I believe children learn through play and that they benefit from engagement in a program that caters to their individual interests and developmental goals. I believe it is vital to work in partnership with families to identify and support goals for all children and strongly encourage family engagement in our educational programs.

As a visiting program, we get the opportunity to see the educators interacting with the children during our Little Groovers dance classes each week and it’s always so lovely to watch. The children are excited, engaged and full of smiles. It’s clear how much the staff genuinely care about each child. Our mornings at Goodstart Robina Goldwater are always such a highlight for our team. All of the staff are genuinely wonderful, caring, patient, and attentive, with a clear focus on each child’s wellbeing and development. The leadership team sets a strong standard, which reflects in how organised the centre is and how supportive and positive the environment feels. You can tell everyone works together and truly cares, which makes a big difference for both the kids and the families.

I 100% recommend this centre to anyone! We looked at many childcare centres before enrolling our children here and when we visited Goodstart Robina - Goldwater Ave, the staff, learning environment and outdoor play spaces stood out to us compared to other centres we visited. We have had two children go through this centre over the last four years and all the staff at Goodstart Robina - Goldwater Ave have made our journey here a wonderful one. As our last child heads off to school next year, I can honestly say we will miss our family of admin staff and educators at Goodstart Robina - Goldwater Ave. From the first phone call to enquire about a tour, right through every room from the nursery through to the Kinder room, the wonderful staff at this centre have always gone over and above for our children and we can't thank them enough for the important role they've played in our children's learning and development. One of our children has food allergies which made us very nervous but the staff have been so accommodating and always taken extra care at meal times. Thank you Goodstart Robina - Goldwater Ave!

Our son attended Goodstart Goldwater for almost 2 years and he absolutely loved this kindy, sadly we have relocated and the commute was just too much, otherwise he would have stayed until prep. The staff are fantastic, everyone knows you and your child. The facilities are just what children need to foster their development and skills. The thing we loved most was the long term retention of those key staff that make a kindy great. Being a smaller kindy it has a community feel with inclusivity. Highly recommend 10/10
