My son started at Sunkids Robina just over a month ago. We had looked at five other centres and initially chose this one because the staff were so lovely. We also fell in love with the layout and facilities, it is clean, has a big outdoor space to run around, and features classrooms packed with learning spaces and activities to keep our son interested and excited about learning. He actually made the final choice himself, saying, "I like this one the best, I want to go here."<br>When he started, he was incredibly excited on his first day and went off without any tears. For the next two weeks or so, drop-offs became a little more difficult as he experienced a bit of separation anxiety with me. However, the staff were so helpful and went out of their way to comfort, encourage, and distract him. He was always able to settle very quickly as soon as I was out of sight, and I am so grateful for their support in helping him settle in and making him feel safe and happy.<br>Pick-up has actually been a bit difficult some days because he is having so much fun that he doesn't want to come home, I think that says it all! Sunkids Robina is a place where my son feels safe and secure, and his confidence has grown so much. It is a place where I know he is being well cared for, inspired, and engaged.<br>I am also incredibly happy that he has been eating a lot better. The educators encourage the children to try new foods, and he has been trying more and more variety, whereas he was quite a fussy eater before.

State Government Approved Programs
At Sunkids, we have developed our own play-based curriculum which encompasses an emergent style of learning. This means that we listen to each child’s interests and ideas and tailor the learning experiences to meet their individual needs and interests.
Our Educators incorporate key elements such as literacy, mathematics and science into the children’s play experiences, exposing them to these key educational foundations in the most engaging and exciting way.
Providing children ownership over their learning and environments results in our centres being filled with confident and enthusiastic learners who are proud of who they are and what they are capable of.
Our new extra-curricular program, led by qualified and experienced Sunkids Coaches, is available to every child at no additional cost to families. Sessions are held three days a week and feature exciting, ever-changing activities such as sports, movement, music, yoga, meditation, games, and dance.
These programs are thoughtfully tailored to suit all age groups, from Nursery to Kindergarten, extending and enhancing our Sunkids Curriculum.
Healthy eating is a priority at all Sunkids centres, and it’s no different at Scottsdale. There’s no need to pack a lunchbox, as our on-site chef prepares morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the children each day. Plus, we cater for all dietary requirements upon request. Our meals ensure all the little tummies are full with healthy and nutritious food to support their learning and daily activities. There’s also complimentary fruit available in our reception foyers each day.
Our alternating weekly menus change throughout the seasons and are perfect for even the fussiest of eaters. The menus are planned in advance by incorporating nutritional needs, the children’s input and our parent’s suggestions.
Mealtimes are special at Sunkids, as children enjoy social interaction through our alfresco dining piazzas. Children are encouraged to serve themselves and others, interact with each other and enjoy beautiful food and conversation within a relaxed and unrushed environment.
For our babies who are just starting out on solid food, we provide a range of food options suitable to their age, such as pureed fruits and foods, rice puddings, and more.
Sunkids is proud to be part of Queensland’s Kindy For All program during 2024, which brings invaluable opportunities to our Sunkids children and beyond.
Starting January 1st, 2024, eligible children can enjoy 15 hours a week or 600 hours a year of FREE Kindy through the QLD Government Kindy For All program*

The instructors are amazing, so profeasional, yet they are very kind, nice and gentle in addition to great teaching skills and being so keen. I could see my daughter evolving and growing day after day. I tried many centres before choosing Sunkids Robina. It is the only centre where I felt it is a happy safe place, everybody is smiling, all the kids are happy. The management is oustanding, so organised, cooperative and informative. I could never imagime I will be ok leaving my little one in a childcare daily from 9 to 5. I couldn't find a happier safer place for her. Thank you for every single person working at Sunkids.
