For anyone who needs to read before enrolling their child here: In summary, my experience with Little Zacks The Entrance has shown a lack of proper care for my son and an ongoing refusal to refund the week that was paid in advance after I decided to remove him from the centre due to those concerns. Several of my emails about this matter have also been ignored, and the situation is now with the Department of Education for review. My son attended this centre for around 8 months, and during that time I observed multiple worrying situations. Many times, when I arrived to pick him up, his water bottle was completely empty and dry. Even after several emails and speaking in person about this issue, nothing changed. Instead, when staff saw me arriving, they would suddenly rush to fill his bottle as if to cover it up. There was also a day when his bed sheet, soaked with urine, was placed in his bag — they had changed the nappy but left him in clothes still wet with urine, even though I always left two full sets of spare clothes in his bag. I also often found him dressed inappropriately for the weather. During cold days he was left without a jacket, and during hot days he was still wearing warm clothes. It really seemed like they rarely changed his outfit according to the temperature. I think I only saw it happen once, and that was after repeatedly mentioning the issue. On top of that, I constantly lost items such as dummies, hats, and water bottles, which I had to replace several times. The final incident that made me remove him from Little Zacks was finding him with a diaper so tight it left marks on his skin. To be fair, there are a few lovely and responsible educators there who genuinely care about the children, but unfortunately, others didn’t show the same level of attention or professionalism. I honestly don’t understand how there are so many positive reviews when I personally witnessed something concerning almost every single week in his room (from around 1.5 to 2.5 years old). My son is currently 2 years old. Families deserve genuine care, attention, and professionalism — not excuses and cover-ups. Update: After posting my review, the centre contacted me and said that is processing the refund. Response to their comment: Thank you for your reply. As a parent, it is deeply disappointing to be repeatedly told that concerns are “taken seriously” when, in reality, no concrete actions were taken to address them. The matter is still under review with the Department of Education. I sincerely hope that future families receive genuine care, transparency, and accountability, not just standard responses.

little Zak’s a beautiful daycare Both my children have attended and still attending this center one soon to graduate to kindergarten next year . My other son who just turned 2 this month started off not so well with his communication , emotional skills & hand eye coordination with no speech at all . Not long after starting he started to say “baby “ “mum” he never liked touching paints or anything to now absolutely loving painting & not to mention the encouragement of food for him , he now eats like a champ all thanks to little Zak’s . The educators are so reassuring and understanding . I had such anxiety sending my baby to daycare but with the help and support from little Zak’s I have no fear with my children attending or have to question the educators or the center . It’s ran so beautifully and I want to thank absolutely everyone in the center for the continued support and success on my son achieving more than I could imagine in such a short period of time . Only daycare I recommend to send your child to after many failed attempts and heartache from previous experiences with other centers on the coast .

Little Zak’s has been the most wonderful place for our daughter to grow and learn. The educators in her room have been amazing and have helped her overcome challenges and gain confidence. She is so happy to go and when we pick her up she always gives us a thumbs up and says ‘Good day!’ Her social skills, language and understanding has blossomed under the care of her room educators and the whole team is so kind and caring to all children and parents who walk through the doors. I can’t recommend Little Zak’s The Entrance highly enough, we have been so impressed and so grateful that the care given to our child has been so outstanding!

This place has been my baby's safe haven. The Educators provide an exceptional level of nurturing and care everyday. I am in awe of how much effort they put into their everyday work just to ensure the children's safety and wellbeing. I am thankful I have found a Centre that will cater my baby's needs. We changed from another daycare to Little Zac’s and the difference was paramount. The professionalism, communication, facilities and activities are all a stand out. We will be sending our next child here.

Little Zak’s The Entrance has been such a supportive, warm and wonderful place for my daughter to begin her learning journey. The educators in the Adventures room did an amazing job helping her settle in and feel comfortable. Her confidence along with speech & even a bit of sign language has absolutely flourished since starting daycare in March. A huge shout out to the room educators Miss Lilli & Miss Alissa who my daughter adores and feels very comfortable with, these ladies are always bringing the fun and warmth all while keeping us updated with milestones and funny moments during the day. I love how they greet the little ones every morning & say goodbye. Miss Sarah who manages the centre does an incredible job ensuring all families are feeling comfortable and up-to-date with centre news. A beautiful, clean, well-run daycare with awesome facilities, resources and loving staff. Highly recommend!

Our daughter loves attending Little Zak’s! Moving from her previous daycare to one closer to home was initially challenging, but the staff have been incredibly supportive, especially Ms. Helen and Ms. Kara. They’ve been so kind and gentle in helping our daughter settle in. The daily activities and experiences offered are amazing and truly exceed our expectations. A big shout-out to Chef Toni as well, she pours so much effort and love into every meal!
