EDIT in response to the owner: It is appalling to see management play semantics and publicly dismiss this as 'not a serious bullying incident.' To be absolutely clear on the facts: my 4-year-old daughter was punched in the face by another child, who then threatened to hit her every single day. This was witnessed by other children who were distressed enough to talk about it at home. A regulatory paperwork check does not erase the reality of this physical assault and verbal threat, nor does it excuse management's failure to protect my child. My review stands as a warning.

Great educators, facilities and learning environment for the kids. The educators know every child by name and are warm and caring. Staff turnover is very minimal. Recommend going on the waitlist for the nursery rooms in advance so you get placement before returning to work. Can recommend this centre over other daycares in the cromer/dee why area.

Ballykin Cromer is the most wonderful daycare. Paris, Katanya, Lucy, Virginia and all of the staff have been so amazing in supporting my daughter in her transition to the centre. She has formed great bonds with the team and it has been amazing watching her grow. Highly recommend

Ballykin Cromer is a new centre to the beaches but has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment my son started every educator knew him by name, they are all so kind and nurturing whilst catering to each individual’s interests. They provide a range of engaging learning experiences in their beautiful well thought out learning spaces. All educators are authentically engaged with children throughout the whole day (a rare find these days). The transformation of my son since starting has been phenomenal; he is becoming more confident, happy and loving kindy (he never wants to leave). Their communication has been fantastic, they are always keeping us up to date and you can always talk directly with the director or the accounts manager rather than having to go through head office like is the process for many other chain centres. We have been absolutely blown away by Ballykin.

Being a first time mum I absolutely dreaded the thought of having to send my little one to daycare. We looked at over 12 different centres in the area and by chance came across Ballykin and it ticked every box for this anxious mumma! We are over the moon with the centre! From the nursery room, facilities, the daily menus and most of all, the educators and staff. From the minute you walk in it’s a friendly family vibe, all staff know your child’s name, regardless of what room they are based in. The main outdoor area is incredible. So many wonderful acitivies for the kids to do. My daughter comes home covered in sand and with stains on her clothes but with a huge smile on her face. Special mention to the absolutely wonderful educators in the nursery, Katanya, Paris and Therese. They are super stars and really care for the children. Virginia in the office and Lucy the director have been flawless and with their communication the whole time. If you can’t tell already, I 110% recommend this centre!

Our family absolutely loves the Ballykin daycares. My children have attended Mosman and Cromer. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are like a second family, so nurturing and kind. The Cromer centre has a fantastic outdoor play area that my children love. Indoors is spacious, clean and homely, full of plenty of different activities for the children to enjoy. They also love the food, often having second helpings. I really like that there are three age group classes, to me this means more focused preschool learning for my 5 year old who is starting school next year, and age appropriate activities for each group. We could not be happier with Ballykin Cromer and feel so grateful to have so much confidence and trust in the centre and staff.

Really excellent daycare. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely care about the children they look after. They create a safe and nurturing environment where my child feels happy and secure. The facility is clean, bright, and filled with age-appropriate toys and equipment. The outdoor play area is a huge hit and I appreciate the emphasis on outdoor play and fresh air. Communication with the staff is fantastic. I feel like I'm always kept in the loop about my child's progress, any concerns or issues, and upcoming events. The app for updates on daily schedule (especially nap wake up times) is convenient and easy to use. I highly recommend Ballykin Cromer Daycare. It's clear that the staff take pride in their work, and my child has thrived in their care. Five stars for sure
