We are so incredibly grateful to have found First Steps Academy. After a heartbreaking experience at another well known centre in the area that left us feeling anxious and let down especially as first time parents. From the very first day here, the difference was undeniable. The educators go above and beyond to make every child feel seen, safe, and valued. Our son has not only settled in beautifully but is thriving emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Every day we’re met with happy stories, creative learning activities, and a strong sense of community. The team communicates openly, respects our family’s needs, and treats each child like their own. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job to them — it’s a passion. Thank you so much to Crystal and the wonderful team of educators you lead for restoring our trust in childcare. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for our child to grow and be nurtured.

I made the change for my 4 year old to first steps and he adjusted so quickly. Within 4 days of attending this wonderful pre school he has learnt to write his name. The staff and director are amazing all so calm and kind. So very clean always smells fresh when walking in. The environment is calming not like the normal chaos you would walk into. I highly recommend this place. Also the school program they have implemented at the centre is a 10/10 so it’s not all just play and games they are prepping our children for school in the best way possible with an amazing program. So glad I made the change over. Never been happier and my son loves it.

Absolutely love and trust first steps academy. I was very concerned with putting my child in day care, however My son loves attending and seeing Miss Bree. The amount of attention and care they provide daily, as well as the extra help for us parents! I highly recommend for piece of mind and comfort for bub to get your child attending this day care! Crystal and the team are the best you can get!

Fantastic center. In all honesty, my son has already advanced in knowing his letters, numbers and sounds. He currently goes to another school that’s prep. First step academy has taught him in a matter of weeks what the other school has tried for two terms. Definitely recommended. Ps. The teachers are very accommodating and lovely.

We recently attended the open day at First Steps Academy, and we were thoroughly impressed! The centre is brand new, absolutely spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The director and teachers were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional—it was clear they genuinely care about the children. The learning spaces were filled with interactive and engaging toys, and the backyard was clean, modern, and full of fun.
