We came from another daycare in a different town which ruined my daughter’s confidence and gave her a bad perception of daycare. My daughter has now been at goodstart Rutherford for over a year and is finally turning around her perception of daycare. This is due to the educators genuinely wanting to learn about her and work with her. They know her so well and tell me things about her that even I don’t know. It can be really hard to trust people with my child but I can honestly say I trust this centre with her wholeheartedly. They have worked so hard with her on getting ready for primary school and getting her emotions in check, my daughter now finally has friends and enjoys school drop off, she is excited to go and that is something I never thought I’d say. The chef is incredible, she eats every meal provided and talks about how yummy it is. And it is the first daycare she has been to where she talks about the centre director in a positive way. The last location she was terrified of room leaders and especially the centre director. Their special attention to detail goes a long way and they incorporate my daughters interests into their activities, so she feels included. Cannot recommend them enough, I’m glad we chose goodstart Rutherford as they have really given her the best start to school. It is also refreshing to be at a daycare where we get daily updates and images of our children participating in activities rather than being in the dark about what they did during the day.

Good start rutherford I can not fault! For starters I know when my son has had a bad day because I go to pick him up and he is being held lovingly cuddled up in an educator's arms (no they never know when I'm coming contact sleep/rest if that's what the kids need they make it happen) they always communicate every single day and not only celebrate the wins with you but find the wins my son doesn't eat at the same level as his peers but even if he doesn't feel like eating they get him to sit and participate with the lunch time social part and go out of their way to have things available my little one will eat like keeping aside his favourite snack or meal. They are the first to say "don't stress we will work on this together" and I know it's their pay check but I absolutely know that's not why these beautiful women turn up every day I just cannot fault anyone in their team even the director is always available for a chat my son is so comfortable there and excited at drop off and if we arrive at the same time as an educator they aren't even clocked in yet and they're interacting with my son I could dote on their level of love and care all day long if you let me my son has come leaps and bounds under their dedication and I leave him there with no guilt and incredible peace of mind

My daughter had been with this centre since she was 5 months old and I couldnt fault it. Everyone is lovely and so welcoming. The centre is always clean and new equipment being provided to the rooms. Storypark is regularly used so you get updates via the app. I recommend them to anyone I know looking for a daycare!

My children have been going to Goodstart Rothwell for 5 years.. my children have settled in great. The staff are fantastic. Will be sad to say goodbye!

By far the best daycare in the area and we’ve tried a few, from the first visit 18 months ago to now we have felt extremely welcomed. The staff are all amazing and all approachable they listen to what you’d like them to work on with your child and I’ve seen positive outcomes from this. There’s a great mix of education and fun, a huge variety of activities both inside and out. I will be sad leaving at the end of the year, we will miss being a part of the Goodstart family.

My daughter is so happy at HER preschool, as she calls it. The educators are easy to talk to and really know my daughter. The rooms are really great this year and we love going in to see what is new. Right from the front desk greeting of a morning to the last message at the end of the day is wonderful.
