Hi there!
My name is Jessica.
I have been operating my Family Day Care based in Floreat for eleven years now.
After a short break, we are re open. I have recently made some changes in our program including excursions and a new and improved environment. I now enrol minimum age 15 months so all chidlren can particpate in the daily activities and excursions.
I have three young children of my own.
I believe Family Day Care presents a wonderful option for families seeking childcare. It provides a unique arrangement between parent, child and educator.
Welcoming someone into your home instantly creates a personal relationship and offers a child an environment most like their own home. The children can rely on the consistency of the same person caring for them every time and only need to adjust to three other little friends. It therefore presents an opportunity for a gradual, gentle transition from being at home to a new world and this can be very significant for a young child.
I operate under the Early Years Learning Framework and have recnetly been assessed by ECRU as meeting the National Quality Standards.
