I've been visiting Goodstart Avocet Drive annually for over a decade as a service provider. I've always been warmly welcomed by both the director and staff alike. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They have had MANY of the staff working there for several years and the children are always settled and happy. I would not hesitate to recommend sending your child here, they are a great caring and professional team.

I cannot speak highly enough of Goodstart Avocet Drive! Throughout our 3 years at the centre we always felt welcomed and like we are part of the family. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, always going above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. My twins absolutely love the wide range of activities offered, from creative arts and crafts to educational programs tailored to their age and development. While I am sad that we are leaving to start school I know that my twins have had the best start and are more than ready to transition into school life thanks to their time at Goodstart Avocet Drive

Zaida has been taking care of our boys since the beginning of 2020.  At the time, my eldest son was 3 years old, and my youngest was just 9 months. Returning to work after a year of maternity leave, I was feeling very anxious, especially given my youngest son's strong attachment.  However, from our very first meeting, Zaida immediately put my mind at ease, providing comfort and assurance that my boys would be in excellent hands.  Zaida not only made my transition back to work smoother but also went above and beyond with regular updates, photos, and a willingness to accommodate the flexibility I needed in my work schedule. Our boys always enjoy their time at Zaida’s with the many fun filled activities, and on a few occasions, my youngest son didn't want to leave upon pick up, a remarkable change from his initial adjustment period!  I put this down to Zaida’s genuine care of the children and treats them as if they were her own which is such a comfort and what every parent wants, to know that their children are in good hands and loved. Having Zaida in our lives has been a true blessing.  We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found such a wonderful educator, and Zaida has undeniably become an integral part of our family circle.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star My child attended Goodstart Mawson Lakes Avocet Drive for 9 weeks (Kindy Group) just before she started school. She was a quiet child and had social anxiety and in 9 weeks time she was a different person --- Zero social anxiety and confident to do things on her own. Huge thanks to everyone at this Goodstart location for making her feel welcome, supporting and encouraging her. THE BEST GROUP OF PEOPLE WORK HERE

My son went here from the age of 5months till he was almost 9months. Originally we wanted him to attend a different childcare company, as he had family already enrolled there. Goodstart Avocet Drive had availability just at the time we needed & I was going back to work so it all fell into place quite nicely. Though we have now recently moved him to the one we originally wanted. It was such a hard decision to pull him out from Goodstart as he absolutely loved all the educators there in the baby room, it really warmed my heart knowing how excited he got when we walked in. Jacky, the director, is absolutely gorgeous! Always smiling and such a warm friendly manner, she remembers the little things about him too & always checked in with me when I was there which made me felt very confident leaving him there. Candice & Anna have been most amazing in the baby room at looking after him for the time he was there & the communication we received from them each day was great! I would definitely recommend 😁

Our little one has done well at Goodstart starting at 10.5 months old. The nursery staff are warm and caring and help with children's individual needs, extra support areas etc. We are very happy to see our child secure and happy to attend. It's a nice little centre with approachable staff and director. They have been very accommodating with helping swap days where needed for appointments or for sick days, and extra casual days.
