Very disappointing and unfair treatment
My 3boys attending in O’Connor holiday program Yesterday and Today I have got very bad experience with Natasha who is Manager.
My 6-year-old was given a warning just because his pants were too loose and fell down twice. Instead of helping, the staff threatened to send him home and sent me a warning message. Another time, my older child was blamed and warned without asking his side, even though other kids provoked him.
Months ago, my second son was verbally bullied and pushed by the same child almost every day. That child never received any warning or consequences and continued attending as usual. Because of this, we stopped sending our child to the holiday program. Even in more serious situations later, that same child continued to harass our son without ever being held accountable.
These repeated situations felt deeply unfair and, honestly, cruel.
When I tried to explain all of this to the manager, Natasha, she not only refused to understand my concerns but later mocked me, saying I was just going “blah blah blah” and that she was tired of hearing it. English is not my first language, and for a manager to mimic and dismiss me like that is deeply disrespectful. It may not seem like racism to some, but mocking someone’s effort to communicate in a second language — especially in a serious conversation — is discrimination. It made me feel small, unheard, and judged for being an Asian parent.
Is this how a holiday program should treat families?
