What the parents say

What the parents say

“Reggio Emilia has been like an extended family. My daughter enjoys the school, staff and other children. I really like the fact that they listen to any feedback the parents may have and takes all necessary steps in betterment of kids and their development, school readiness. Our daughter has been with Reggio Emilia since she was 6 months old and is now getting ready for School next year. I am pleased that this is happening under the guidance of well-trained staff. For me, Reggio Emilia has been a ‘second me’ in shaping my child and helping her to become independent.”

Pari Shankar

“It has been a wonderful journey for our daughter. She loves sharing all her experiences and amuses me with all her funny stories. I thank all the Educators and staff who bring out positive energy in her and other children. I would highly recommend Reggio Emilia to everyone 🙂”

Nidhi Makhija

“What we love about Reggio Emilia ELC is that the learning experience is based on the children’s own interests. The Educators will explore these interests through various activities – this always keeps it fun and fresh for our son. Additionally, the social interaction with other children has allowed him to develop genuine friendships.”

Suzanne

“My son enjoys at Reggio Emilia very much, and my wife and I have been incredibly impressed with the nurturing, caring and professional approach to childcare. Thanks to all the Educators for making him comfortable, cared for and safe.”

About the curriculum

About the curriculum

Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is designed around projects. With a focus on fun and play, the children are engaged in the project based around their unique interests.

The educators document the projects and share the children’s progress through portfolios that document the children’s individual learning journeys.

The curriculum for the preschool program helps to equip the children with tools and skills they’ll need for their transition to big school. Taught by qualified teachers, the preschool curriculum provides the framework for the different learning activities the children participate in.

Programs

We enrolled our child in the Sunshine Baby Room about a month ago, and we have been very happy with the experience so far. The daycare is clean, welcoming, and well maintained. The room leader, Miss Lakshmi, and other educators, are all very friendly, professional, and responsible.

The management team is also very supportive and responsive. Our child adapted to the new environment very quickly, which we believeit is the sign of good caring. We also really enjoy the daily photo updates, which allow us to see what our child is doing and how they are enjoying their day at daycare.❤️

I had a wonderful placement experience at Reggio Emilia. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported by the entire team. The centre provides a caring, respectful, and positive environment where children are encouraged to learn through play and exploration.

A special thank you to my mentor, Vika, who was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive throughout my placement. She always took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and encourage me to learn and grow. Her guidance helped me build confidence and develop my practical skills as an early childhood educator.

I am truly grateful for this opportunity and all the valuable experiences I gained during my placement. Thank you to everyone at Reggio Emilia for making my placement such a positive and memorable journey. I highly recommend this centre to both families and future educators.❤️

This would be a very late review but my son had a traumatic history with this center. My son is speech delayed and still feel horrified whenever this childcare centre is mentioned. I never really knew what happened to my son, unfortunately. My kid went home 1 day with scratches on his chest then went home with scratches near the eye the following day. I was gaslit by the admin when I asked for explanation. Terrible.

I am probably late for this review but my son used to go to this centre and now i am looking for a child care for my another baby but thinking of this child care makes me think again and i get horrified. My son used to have finger prints on his face as someone has slapped him, some days he would have been in the same diaper as of morning one which i put on him. It was completely horrendous. Few educators like cassey and one other were good but then it was full of Indian educators who seemed to care less about kids. Most of the time they would be cranky and tired. If you have any kids who attend this centre please make sure your kids are okay. My son was speech delayed and i didn't know. Now i blame myself that why i let these things go at that time. My heart still feels the guilt
