My child has improved in so many ways such as learning to share learning to communicate in different ways and his motor skills are improving each day overall extremely happy to see my child smiling playing and getting along with everyone and the teachers are very loving caring towards the children it’s such a calm environment I love the fact that the teachers acknowledge the children as they come in in the morning with a simple good morning followed on with your child’s name it’s very lovely to see that the staff takes such good care of our children.

I absolutely love the dharruk centre. My daughter is loving school and her teachers, atm we are having a trying time to get my daughter to eat and the girls and cook are so patient and loving towards for daughter. Helping her and nourishing her in every way.

Terrible experience would not recommend best thing i did for my child was remove him from this place. Cant believe I forgot to review when I left. Child in the same nappy for up to 5 hrs with only a "it should not have happened" - they tell you 2 hourly changes at orientation but its really whenever they can be bothered (like once a week I was reminding them about nappies) Constant staff turn over. Kids running wild with little structure. Constantly losing stuff like sheets and shoes and hats. Drink bottles locked inside while kids are outside in the heat. All round joke of a centre.

My son has been with the center just over a year now and our last 12+ months have been amazing. Christy the center manager is amazing and works with you to help with any issues you bring forward. The girls in the baby to toddler rooms go above and beyond for the kids to make sure they are getting the best education possible. The rooms are are always clean and set up for fun activities. I know my son is getting nutritional meals as the in house chef makes sure all kids are catered to. My son loves going to daycare and I thank all the girls who have helped him on his learning journey. Basically all of you have been with him since the center opened and we appreciate the hard work you put into our kids.

Absolutely appalling manager , chaos run babysitting service ! do not take your kids here especially if they have extra or complex needs ! They do not care ! Some staff are lovely others are untrained. They don’t feed the kids properly kids are left in their soiled nappies for two hours. Kids walking around crying For over an hour without the educator Even trying to help regulate or help. Some kids get five plates of food while others miss out and they are told to wait until the next meal. The hitting , swearing, Biting &throwing things etc. staff Being rude to other staff because the manager hasn’t organised a proper schedule. And any time you bring up an issue, they push it back on you, And gaslight. If a child was complex needs hasn’t got a support teacher they normally forget to even give the child a drink. Some kids at one point we’re getting 11 incident reports in one week while also been told the matter would be taken care of which obviously wasn’t. I am Speaking from personal experience it’s absolutely appalling and they should be shut down. Not to mention the way they Just handled kicking two kids with Autism out of the centre without proper resolution , also the other old one of the parents to just get out as well as she Was pathetic to her face for the parent raising concerns over them not looking after her son properly. It’s Just pure chaos and a waste of an education center.

My daughter absolutely loves this daycare. The ladies are beautiful and inviting and has made the transition into daycare so easy for her.

What an absolutely fabulous service. Christie, the Director, has been so supportive and caring towards my child. Her feedback is honest, transparent and she has created such a beautiful space where my child is now thriving.

My child begun toilet training and was in a room with no toilets, but was old enough to be in the toddler room with toilets. When I spoke to the centre manager C about moving my child to the toddler room so she can be in a classroom that has toilets. She essentially told me that they would rather wait until there’s 20 to 30 children ready to move instead of moving children one by one as it’s more convenient for them. I raised the concern that my child should not have to wait to go toilet to be taken from one classroom to another. The centre manager c said to me “ I have a Potty training child at home and they could hold”. Sorry, I’m talking about my child, not yours. I then dropped my child off and asked her to be taken toilet when she’s finished breakfast. An hour and 30 minutes later they logged that she had an accident. When I called the childcare Centre the centre manager C told me they were busy that morning and do not have time for one on one. I said so I’m just confirming you did not have time to take my child to the toilet. The centre manager C confirmed that that’s correct. They did not have time to take her to the toilet. Then complained to the Department of education who confirmed that the school should not have done that and that all children should be able to access the toilet when they need it. The next week. Monday I got a phone call telling me that the teacher watched my child be pushed into a bookshelf by an older child. Understand children can do this but when a teacher repeatedly in that phone call said three times she watched that happen. Why did you not intervene? Tuesday I got a phone call incorrectly advising me they perform CPR on my child. When I asked what hospital my child was in the teacher then said to me “nah soz girl not CPR”. Wednesday my child was not taken to the toilet for three hours and then they logged that she had an accident. When I phoned to question this they advised me that she in fact had not had an accident that she sat in a wet patch. I raised why is my two-year-old being withheld from the toilet for over three hours? Upon collection that day it was 34° at time of collection and the children were outside and all their water bottles were locked inside. So I know why my daughter didn’t need to go toilet for 3 hours, she was dehydrated. It is actually neglect to withhold a child from basic human rights including access to water and a toilet. head office then contacted me to cancel my contract. Absolutely no accountability from Young Academics for their part in the neglect shown to my child nor did she have any empathy. If you have a toddler, you are better off sending them to the pound then to this school least at a pound they have access to toilet needs and water. The centre manager C has 0 people skills and her concern is the business, not your child’s safety or wellbeing. I hope this improves because it’s actually quite dangerous to withhold children from water and toilets. Only positive is Kirsty in the nursery and Priya in junior toddler are amazing!! The one star is for them 2
