Very disappointing experience. The daycare charged a $200 bond to register my child, but due to circumstances we had to change plans, and my child never attended even a single day. When I went to request a refund, they refused and claimed it was for ‘unpaid days’ — even though my child never attended at all. Extremely unprofessional and unfair. I do not recommend this place.

Our daughter has been attending Jenny's Mortlake for about 2 years and overall we have been happy with our experience. Ms Andi has been particularly great, taking care to elevate the quality of daycare and also organising various excusions, events and activities for the children and parents. We are now planning for our son to join once he is old enough too. Would recommend!

My son has been attending Jenny’s centre for nearly 3 years and absolutely loves going! He’s development and progress since starting has been amazing! The activities that the staff provide are always fun and educational to maximise their learning. Ms Andi and her team are extremely passionate and show a high level of care and interest in the children, they have shown exceptional attentiveness to each child and their needs. Thank you team!

My daughter started a few months ago at Jenny’s Mortlake and we’ve been so happy! The communication is excellent, the educators are wonderful, and my daughter absolutely loves going, They’re all so lovely and easy to deal with, highly recommend!

We started our daughter from a young age and the centre has been so helpful in adapting her to day care. They always give great daily updates and put our mind at ease with handovers in the pick up and drop off. We are extremely happy with our choice of Jenny's for our daughters care.

We’ve been with this centre for close to 4 years (2 Kids) and it has experienced so many turbulent times . With high staff turnover including 4 directors within a few months, managers/directors that did not seem to care about the kids, compromises on kids wellbeing and safety which led to many families leaving. Andi who took over a few months ago has been absolutely AMAZING!!! She came in and turned everything around. Her genuine love for the kids and her passion to create an environment that fosters growth and development is so evident . She has brought in the much needed warmth back into the centre. Her leadership and commitment to ensuring that the educators are equiped has made all the families feel confident that our kids are well looked after. She has organised excursions to the local schools, shops and libraries. As well as incursions such as dentist visits. She is putting so much effort in getting to know the families and celebrating their diverse cultures. Parents are always kept in the loop with anything happening around the centre . She communicates any staff changes, she makes sure the children’s daily reports are updated. She organises meeting with the parents were we can provide honest feedback and share any concerns. Since she has taken over there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t know what my child has done, what they ate , if they took a nap or any incidents transpired . Her transparency in communicating has restored my confidence in the centre. The facilities are amazing. Well structured layout in all the classes. Plenty of outdoor space for them to run around. Nutritious meals that are made fresh by a chef. We are so happy that we made the decision to stay and I would highly recommend this centre to any parent/carer.

If your child has the chance to attend this preschool make sure you take it! Every single member of the team is warm, loving and positive. My son ONLY cried at the first day of school, maybe it was new circumstance for him. After that, he never cried again. Then he is soooo exciting to go to school everyday now. Moreover, they meet the children at their development level and they support our family in the ways we are choosing to parent our son. My son is going to Kindergarten next year, this school offers Twinkl and Kadink worksheets to Pre-K kids to get practice on it. Also, they have started being introduced about phonics by listening songs. I can see the Pre-K kids learn phonics now. I have been other Pre-K, that one did not have these worksheets for Pre-K kids. Besides, I can see there are BIG changes for this Jenny’s K. After the new director - Andi started manages the team, I can tell that communication between the school and parents has increased significantly. Eg: when an educator takes leave, the school promptly informs the parents and updates us the information about the replacement educator. And besides, the school has been organizing at least one community event each month for students at irregular times since the new management team took over this center, the children not only get to play at school, but also have opportunities to participate in activities outside of the center. Andi and her team are such a wonderful group. Each one of them has had such an impact on my son’s development. Highly recommend this center. Especially the pre-school class.
