Its a real shame that Edge as a business are poor at compliance and have showed time n time again that they dont take ownership of their inherit problems, but instead blame the ESB. 3 seperate incidents in just over 12 months is not good enough. All the staff at this centre are lovely and our kids love going there everyday. This last closure is the last straw. The impact on our kids and family is unacceptable. 3 times a fool! I feel really sorry for the staff and all families impacted.

Nearly 12 months into our journey at edge Gawler east after a traumatic experience elsewhere, Tayla, Jamie and the team have been nothing but wonderful to my boys. The educators in Nursery 1 and toddlers are absolutely amazing. My boys adore them and are absolutely thriving in the care of the team. Nothing but positive things to say!

Can't recommend this place enough! Leo has absolutely loved it each day he's in. Kayla, Nikki, Lin, Kendal & Naomi are incredible people that do nothing but provide endless laughs, care and education for my boy. Unlike previous our center, Leo is outside enjoy the fresh air as much as possible. (I won't be held responsible for the amount of sand he brings home daily, soz) And the food, he eats better than I do so I camt complain!

This is our daughter’s third and by far, favourite childcare. The staff in the kindy room are brilliant. Everyone is approachable and personable. The room is structured and kids are always busy and happy. Highly recommend - we will miss you all next year!

Edge Early Learning Gawler East. PRO's: - amazing educators, caterers and admin; all so caring, respectful, and upfront. - they accommodate shift workers with rotating roster, provided you're well organized and schedule in advance - clean, modern secure and safe facility - Coffee Van mum in the morning CON's - not open 24hrs (as if people need to sleep 😜) - kids don't want to come home at the end of the day (how dare children enjoy daycare) - they're constantly being harassed in Google Reviews by "keyboard Karen's" who don't get all the facts straight and have no connection except the Internet. (Your sisters, best friends, father in law didn't hear from someone anonymous, anything that amounts to a fact)

Our purpose-built centre is now welcoming children from 6 weeks to school age, into our long daycare and preschool program.
We’re excited to offer state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor learning environments where our teachers and educators deliver Edge Early Learning’s bespoke education program that’s personalised to your child’s individual learning goals. Your child will love learning through play with engaging inquiry-based experiences planned and communicated to our families.
Children in our centre benefit from our long-standing team of multilingual educators, excursions, cooking lessons, Auslan sign language, gardening, sustainability, dental visits, and more.
Your child will also enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using recipes developed in collaboration with accredited dietitians at The Biting Truth. Designed with growing bodies in mind, our seasonal 4-week rotating menus are designed to be age-appropriate and nutritionally balanced, aligning with the Australian Dietary Guidelines to support healthy growth and development. Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs and allergy requirements—ensuring every child receives nourishing meals each day.
Our team of highly qualified teachers and educators pride themselves on developing strong relationships with families, to set children up with a confident start to school. Children from our centre will go on to attend Gawler East Primary School, Trinity College or Xavier College.
Enrolling now for 2026. Eligible families will receive a minimum of 3-days subsidised care each week at Edge Early Learning Gawler East.
