Really good service and they are all really friendly and even provide swimming lessons.

I have had my 4 year old at Edu-play for past year and a half. This place is AMAZING and we couldn't be happier. After having our son at a larger day care in the area and not being very happy with it, finding Edu-Play was a God-send. The owner Grace has a very calm and nurturing energy and all the staff there and kind, gentle and very friendly. They have weekly excursions to the beach and to city farm which has been exceptional and a great learning adventure for the kids. It has grown slightly since being there but is still very small and has more than enough staff to look after the little ones. The training that my son is getting in preparation for school next year is just fantastic, Sue who is the Kinder teacher is incredible at her job - you can tell she's been doing it for years! Edu-play is the best day-care/Kinder I have come across and feel very lucky we are able to have these special years for our boy there.

After already being so impressed with Altona Early Education Centre, we were excited to visit their City Farm location this week—and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, my son lit up with excitement. The unique farm setting offered a completely immersive and sensory-rich experience. Feeding the animals, exploring the garden beds, and engaging in hands-on outdoor learning gave him a sense of joy, calm, and connection that we hadn’t seen anywhere else. The City Farm Kinder is a beautiful extension of the Edu-Play difference—small and nurturing, yet deeply rooted in the local Altona community. You can feel the intention behind every space and activity, designed to build both confidence and curiosity. My son felt safe, seen, and so proud of his time here. The joy on his face told us everything we needed to know—we’re truly grateful for Grace and her team’s commitment to creating these magical spaces for our children to grow.

Sonya and Sue are kind and caring, Director Makayla is bubbly and easy to chat with. All who work there including the owner are so passionate about what they do. They take from 2 years old now too! Centre is small, calm and beautiful.

Love this childcare centre. Have entered our daughter here from another childcare and what a big difference it is! You can tell that the owners and staff genuinely care for the kids and it almost seems like it is more than just a job to them. It’s not a centre where the staff just do the bare minimum. They involve the kids with many activities and regular excursions including to the neighborhood farm and beach. It is also an inclusive childcare which embraces diversity in all aspects. Our daughter beams with excitement in the mornings when she realizes we are going to ‘school’. Strongly recommend this Centre.

What a fantastic centre! I sent my daughter here after taking her out of other centres, and she settled right in. The education program is wonderful and the staff are excellent at helping out, answering questions and looking after the children. The farm within the kinder is a great feature, as it allows the kids to interact with the animals and environment. The owners have clearly invested a lot of money and time into the care of the children, and it does not go unseen. Extraordinary.

Great little childcare center, friendly owners and staff, well laid out indoor facilities and outdoor play area has lots of fun things to keep the kiddos occupied including a sand pit. Highly recommended small scale center where the kids get the education and attention they deserve.
