She is kind and respectful with the kids and provides a warm homely environment with a wonderful array of fun and ever changing indoor and outdoor activities. Choosing a daycare provider is a huge decision and we have absolute trust in April.

We have had an incredible experience with April's family day care. April is fun, caring, safe and loves and adores our two boys as if they are her own. They come home stimulated and happy after they have been with April. As soon as they could talk they talked about April ALL the TIME. April taught them colours, numbers, sharing and nurtured their social and emotional development. She also makes all her kids exquisitely beautiful and precious portfolios at the end of each term, which we will cherish for ever. Unfortunately, after you've had your kids with April, nothing else is ever good enough! She sets the standard high. We cannot recommend April highly enough!

As a first time mum, I searched high and low for a day care I felt comfortable with to leave my son at.. Which ended in, thankfully, finding April's! Her house is a childs haven, with ever rotating toys and activities. The outdoor area provides for both the children's sensory and physical stimulation. She regularly organises activities outside of care hours, so the families can meet and the children mingle. I don't know many others who go these extra miles! April is caring and calm with the children, which is evident in how much they all love her. My son asks repeatedly to go to April's during the week.. And barely wants to leave when he is there! I have full confidence is April's day care and regularly recommend her to anyone who will listen!

As a Family Day care educator, my aim is to provide an, honest, safe, clean, stimulating, friendly and highly professional service.
The wellbeing of your child is very important to me. I want to provide a happy and fun atmosphere where your children can come to learn, play and socialise with other children.
I would like all parents to be assured that I will always have best interests in their child. In saying that I want to develop a high self-esteem and positive attitudes in the children as well as their emotional needs. Including lots of loving cuddles.
In order to provide a positive reinforcement, there must be a solid partnership between parent and educator including good communication, trust and honesty without taking over the parental role. All parents are included in their child’s FDC journey.
Little Explorers FDC offers a stimulating program that accommodates to all learning styles, understanding that children learn at different levels, making patients an important skill as a FDC educator.
As an Educator I provide experiences that cater for each child’s interests & encouraging new interests, building on their strengths & weaknesses.
