Green Leaves Baldivis is a lovely centre; it is clean and welcoming. All staff were friendly and caring, especially in the Junior Kindy room. They supported us with my son's toilet training (and other needs), and that made it a lot smoother for him with adjusting quickly. My son attended for the year, 2 days a week, with the occasional casual extra day when needed (which was super easy to organise through 'their' Childcare Now app - so good!!). They use the Storypark app for their daily posting - but that currently doesn't include using the app to record the children's routine (as other centres tend to do; with meals, toileting, sleep etc), it is completed the old fashioned way on pen and paper and available to review anytime (but BIG plus if this was utilised in the app aswell, making it easier for parents to access information quickly, in one place!!). Admin staff were always kind, supportive and attentive with any communications/paperwork needed. Recommend GL Baldivis if looking for a trusted daycare in the area!! :)

Unfortunately, Green Leaves Daycare has really gone downhill. What used to feel like a caring, attentive environment now feels disappointing. Communication has declined, attention to the children seems lacking, and overall there’s a noticeable drop in the level of care and professionalism. As a result, we felt we had no choice but to pull our boys out. As a parent, trust is everything—and that trust just isn’t there anymore. I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this daycare based on our recent experience.

I absolutely love this Centre. From reception to the kitchen staff and the room educators, my son and I always receive a warm welcome and goodbye. I truly appreciate the way they speak to and care for my son. A special thank you to the Centre Director, Ms Ashley, who is very supportive of my son’s needs. I am also very grateful to the Junior Kindy educators who look after my son. They are genuinely doing their best to support his needs. They always listen to me when I share information about my son and make sure they follow through. As a mum, this makes me feel confident and safe leaving my son at this Centre. Not only in the Junior Kindy room, but even the educators from other rooms know my son by name. Every time I see them greeting him, calling his name, and talking to him, it truly makes me happy. I am always well informed about how my son’s day has been, as the Junior Kindy educators regularly update me during pick-up. And to Christie from the kitchen, thank you for the yummy coffee. It absolutely makes my day. I also really appreciate the nutritious and well-balanced meals prepared by the kitchen for the children. I can’t say enough good things. I feel so lucky to have found this amazing Centre. Teamwork at its best. Thank you all for your kindness and care.

Amazing service with an amazing group of early childhood educators!! Ash the manager and janine have been amazing support during our time at the centre, always friendly and supportive, following up quickly on concerns or helping support the staff and my families needs. Always making time for us. Bree is always welcoming when we come in or leave and all the management and staff in the centre know our child by name and make a point of saying hello each time they see us. My child's room leader Millie has supported my child's journey in the centre and has been so amazing again always listening and supporting. Rahni, Jenette,Renee, andrea, kyra, olivia, bernie and other educators in the room and around the centre have also been an amazing support, and I can see the care and time they put into the children. We definitely feel like a part of the green leaves baldivis family and can't thank them enough for all they do.

Absolutely love this centre. I have 2 kids who attend since the centre opened & my youngest has moved up from toddlers through to kindy and not one transition did we feel like she wasnt welcomed in the rooms. My eldest spent his time in the kindy room before graduating for big school and now my youngest is in the kindy room for where we love our educators and how much she has learnt in her short time of being in the room. Its a very well taken care of centre with lovely staff. They have their own chef who makes amazing varieties of different foods each week for every season that we love. They also have extra outside activities that come into the centre that my kids adore and go on local excursions as well. Overall amazing centre and I wouldnt have my kids in any other daycare.

Child Physical Abuse at Daycare – My 2 years old Daughter’s Story The daycare never contacted me and never took responsibility for such severe mistreatment They turned a blind eye and told me that all the cameras were disconnected, even though from the beginning they had told me the cameras were working I had to contact all the government child protection authorities about this case, and only after that did Fiona call me saying that Tatum had been dismissed. However, she continues to work as a manager at other daycares and continues mistreating children in childcare. I witnessed the daycare manager physically abuse my daughter. I arrived at 5:30 PM and found her alone in the yard with the manager and a teacher. The manager grabbed my daughter by the legs and threw her to the ground. I was in shock. She got visibly nervous, sarcastically told me to “buy sand for her at home,” and ran off to reception. I was alone, pregnant, and too nauseous to respond. When my husband returned from FIFO and confronted her, she denied everything and by then, the cameras had been disconnected. They never allowed me access to any footage. The manager did everything possible to erase evidence. She acted with such precision and control that it was clear she had experience covering up situations like this before. After that, things got worse. My daughter began refusing to go, stopped speaking overnight, and her therapist advised us to withdraw her. She came home with unexplained injuries, but staff always claimed they didn’t know what happened. The classrooms were overcrowded, with one teacher for over 10 kids, and children spent hours in front of screens. Once, my daughter walked out of the playground and into reception completely unsupervised. If I hadn’t been there, she could have ended up on the street. A former teacher later confessed that my daughter had been locked alone in a room several times during extreme summer heat, even though she wasn’t a difficult child. She was diagnosed with hyperlexia, yet no teacher understood the condition. Despite raising concerns multiple times, I never received a follow up or a single call from the daycare.

My 2 year old has been going to green leaves since opening now.. And he absolutely LOVES the centre. He loves the staff too. Amazing place for our little ones to go to, beautiful modern centre, amazing caring staff, the chef is awesome and makes us parents free coffees for morning drop off which makes it so much easier for us in our busy mornings! They really do go above and beyond for our little ones here. They really do care and you can feel it from the moment you walk in the door. Tatum is beyond an angel!!!
