I would not recommend this daycare at all. My two-year-old child received very little outdoor time apparently, the outdoor area is mainly reserved for older children. During pick-ups, I frequently noticed teachers chatting among themselves rather than engaging with the kids. My child often looked bored, and many of the other children seemed to be playing on their own while staff stood aside talking.
To my surprise, my two-year-old even started saying, “Alexa, play this song,” at home something we don’t have, which makes me question what kind of activities are being used to occupy the younger children during the day.
The admin office’s glass door is always closed at drop-off and pick-up, which creates a very unwelcoming atmosphere. This daycare might suit parents who are used to smaller or private services, but for families like ours, coming from Dural, where our two older kids attended Fit Kids Dural and the difference was significant. We eventually moved our youngest to Fit Kids Rouse Hill, and it was the best decision we made. The space, the warmth of the staff, and the overall environment are worlds apart. The admin team greets children every morning with genuine warmth, helping them feel comfortable and happy right away.
I truly believe this daycare’s carers and admin staff could benefit from proper training in communication, professionalism, and child engagement. Sadly, our experience with the head of the centre was also disappointing, my wife was asked to remove my previous Google review or risk my child being asked to leave. I complied only because we needed to keep him enrolled until we secured another spot. Parents deserve transparency, and I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.
