Welcome to Cheeky Pandas Family Day Care with Thuy Nguyen, a nurturing and safe home-based childcare environment where children can learn and grow!

I began working in Family Day Care in 2000, bringing over 25 years of experience in early childhood care and education. I previously worked with the Brimbank City Council Family Day Care Scheme, and now operate under Cheeky Pandas Family Day Care.

My program is centred on play-based learning, designed to support each child’s development through engaging activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and social skills. The small group setting allows me to provide personalised attention and build strong, meaningful relationships with every child.

My home offers a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment, with dedicated indoor play areas including toys, books, and learning spaces that support children’s development. I encourage active, hands-on learning and maintain a screen-free or minimal screen time approach to support healthy development.

I am fluent in both Vietnamese and English, allowing me to support bilingual families and create an inclusive environment for children from diverse backgrounds. In addition to full-day care, I also provide before and after school care, as well as school holiday programs.

I also have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing individualised care to ensure every child feels supported, included, and valued.
