Our children have been attending The Hive Early Learning Centre Sunshine for the past year and a half and we could not be more pleased with the care they receive there. Jay, the manager is one of the hardest working people we know. She's constantly thinking of new ideas and regularly liases with community groups to bring fun and exciting activities to educate the children and captivate their young minds.<br><br>The educators are not only careing, gentle and nurturing, they also pay close attention to each child's development, periodically providing us with updates regarding our children's progress, their achievements and suggested strategies to assist our children reach their individual mile stone targets. All meals are provided and freshly prepared daily by the in house chef who is able to cater the items to the children's specific dietary requirements.<br><br>This centre is newer than many of the other child care centres in the area and features a large undercover car park to protect you and your child from the elements during pick-ups and drip offs. It also features multiple spacious open air areas furnished with play equipment, sporting equipment, monkey bars and slides to encourage the children to spend more time outdoors and getting plenty of fresh air when the weather permits.<br><br>The centre is kept very clean. It is thoroughly wiped down daily by staff and receives twice weekly specialised cleaning to reduce the likelihood of infectious breakouts. If there happens to be an outbreak, of which there has been only very few, the centre management is very transparent about the situation and work collaboratively with parents to reduce its spread and minimise its duration.<br><br>In summary, if you're looking for a clean, safe, nurturing environment for your precious little one, I encourage you to give serious consideration to The Hive Early Learning Centre Sunshine. 2 of my babies been going here since last year. Hands down the best daycare my boys have ever been to and they have been to a few all over Melbourne. The level of support we've received when we went through one of toughest times we had last year was beyond what I expected. Not only do they look after my babies they offered me support aswell. My babies are still going to the Hive in Sunshine as of now and this will be their last year cause they start school next year. Big thanks to the girls in pre-kinder & kinder room plus the management. You guys are doing an awesome job.

Finding the right daycare is one of the most stressful decisions a parent can make, and we genuinely couldn’t find another place where we felt comfortable taking our son — until we found The Hive.<br>Suman leads the room with such calm confidence that you feel the difference the moment you walk in. She knows every child individually and sets the tone for everything. Abreen is our son’s favourite educator — she has a natural gift for connecting with him, making learning feel like play, and our son genuinely lights up at the mention of her name. Jagwant’s care and compassion stand out every day; she notices the small things and responds with such genuineness. All the other staff are so friendly and attentive — showing genuine interest in our son and his interests. He has learnt so much, too!<br>On top of all that, the team communicates brilliantly with parents — we always feel in the loop, and our son goes in happy and comes home even happier.
