A Wonderful Start for Our Little One! We couldn't be happier with our experience at Nido Iluka and their wonderful staff (Denise, Natasha, Natalie, Nikita, Harry, Kyandra, Rachel, kitchen staff and all staff) From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and reassured that our son would be in safe, caring hands. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our son settled in quickly, and it's been amazing to see how much he's grown in confidence, independence, and curiosity since starting. The activities are thoughtful and varied—there’s always something creative, educational, or just plain fun going on! He comes home excited to tell us about his day, which speaks volumes. We also really appreciate the great communication from the team. They keep us updated with regular photos, progress notes, and are always open to chats at drop-off or pick-up. It's clear they really take the time to know each child and support them individually. A huge thank you to everyone, for creating such a nurturing, joyful environment. We’re so grateful to have found you after moving from Ireland to Australia this year. You have really helped us settle all that bit more, especially as Leo has settled so well into his routine. Professional leadership, beautiful facilities and lovely, caring educators. The ladies really take the time to learn individual child needs and the extra mile they go to. I have always felt so comfortable with drop-offs for both my children.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Nido Iluka. Our son started here when he was about six months old, and from the very beginning we felt reassured knowing he was in such caring hands. The educators in Classes 1, 2, 3, and now 4 have all been absolutely amazing – so patient and kind. Over the years, he has received not only excellent care but also so much love, encouragement, and learning opportunities. The office staff and manager have also been incredibly supportive, especially during transitions between classes. They’ve always been proactive in communicating with parents, whether it’s about center upgrades, important changes, or even giving us a timely heads-up when a case of illness has occurred in the class. Their attentiveness and openness have really built our trust and made us feel part of the community. Thanks Nido Iluka Team 😊

Hi lovely educators of Nido Iluka! Oh wow where do I start… I just want to say thank you so much for everything you all have done for our little family. All 3 of my kids have grown up with Nido and the centre has really become a second family to us! A big thank you to Coral, Krystal, Carissa, Verity, and everyone else who have helped along the way, these beautiful ladies helped not only my kids but also me every morning, even the phone calls after I had left to reassure me the kids were happy! And I will never forget the mid day phone calls when my heart drops seeing the number but just Huddy falling over again!!!🤣 Jess Lake, wow I don’t know what I would of done without Jess at the centre, she understands my little Huddy more then anyone, always there to make him laugh and such a beautiful calm nature which made Huddy feel comfortable, and even a shoulder to cry on when he was having his tough days (which happened a lot) You are truly an angel Jess! Huddy will miss you heaps and so will I! Selena, Denise, and Natasha thank you for always helping me out, fitting the kids in on casual days and always being so happy and uplifting! My son recently moved to the next class and I feel like is time to say a big thank you to the educators in Nursery 2 (and nursery 1) for taking good care of him for the last year . I recommend them to everyone I know. You created a very special place for him to learn, grow, and let us feel we were leaving our most important human being in good hands. Patience(a lot), empathy, caring, and passion for teaching don't necessarily come with a degree .. you are definitely doing a great job. It's a shame we can't have the same educators for more years to come, but I'm glad for everything you teached him :) Thank you, girls .

An amazing centre to work at and send my child to. Management go above and beyond to look after their staff. The children are always the first priority and the educators are extremely dedicated towards caring for the children and enriching their lives.

Our girls have been at Nido Iluka since the beginning of 2022. I was so impressed with the centre that I transferred from another service and joined them a month later. The girls love going and have such strong relationships with all the educators in their rooms. The management team have all the children and educators interested at heart and are very accommodating. Highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have been apart of the Nido Iluka family for over a year and a half now, with my son also attending from the age of 5 months. Right from the beginning I have felt supported and respected as a parent working alongside her child. Management has been a huge help in finding the right work/life balance, with many other mothers working with their children in the centre. I have not only built incredible relationships with the staff but also the children and their families! My son has now started in the Toddler program where each morning he runs through the door, eager to pop his bag in his locker and start his day. Each morning we are greeted with big smiles from his Educators and peers, who he has created close bonds with. The staff have been a huge part of my sons development throughout each room, with staff celebrating milestones as much as myself and his father do. During his time at Nido he has learnt sign language (key word signing), gross motor and self help skills. My son has been able to teach my parents the key word signing, which he uses daily as home to be able to communicate his needs. When he was apart of the baby room program we had a check up with the health nurse. She explained he was he a little delayed in his walking and may need extra support. The baby room team created brilliant activities to build the muscles in his legs which ended in him walking confidently a few months later. Each day I see my son sitting in the main eating area (Piazza) where he greets me with a big smile and sits with his group. It’s so incredible to see my son sit at a table with a bunch of friends, enjoying his meals and asking for a second portion. The management and chef have also been very accomodating when it comes to my sons meal requirements with him being dairy free. (I’ve even taken some recipes to use at home as he loves them so much). I truly love coming to work knowing my son is in such great care and couldn’t recommend Nido Iluka enough!

This daycare centre seemed excellent at the beginning, with management and staff seemingly advertising and advising their care for children and support provided to families. But it was all a smoke and mirrors show, to choose them to provide daycare services for our family, to get their child and staff numbers up, and to advertise to other prospective parents with children. Over the course of experiencing how their management treat their staff, and how especially those that have their own children there are treated, it became a shock realisation that the centre do not put family or children first, but their own selfish selves first, and care is only considered when quality checks are being made of them from their management. My child was not cared for and nurtured in the way I would have expected when paying for childcare as fancy advertised as this one, and did not benefit or develop during their stay there. Daily updates also seemed to be staged with props, and no real actual activities taking place for the children. Management have continually advised that their business is far more important than families, and having to care for your own child is considered affecting their all-important 'business', even though caring for children, is meant to be the heart of the childcare business. After having my child attend this poorly managed centre, it's no surprise to see management and staff not putting in any extra care for other staff, children and families. Management and staff do not put children at the heart of what they do, and the photos sent daily of the activities are a sham where the children do not actually seem to learn and develop effectively. The HR team also seem to be absolutely useless and cannot even provide basic HR information when requested, so I'm unsure as to what they do all day. Furthermore staff also seem to be underpaid, as other centres look to remunerate staff accordingly. This centre and all Nido's are just fancy-looking establishments where no real learning or care takes place during the day. Staff and management do not put enough effort into caring for children and everything is just a show to keep their all-important business running. I'll never have my child or recommend anyone have their child attend these centres. After the absolutely negative experience, the Nido way that is spoken of is truly an abomination and I cannot give less stars for this review.
