⭐⭐ An Amazing Childcare Centre! ⭐⭐<br><br>We absolutely love this childcare centre! The staff are so lovely, caring, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about what they do. My family and I truly love it here, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my son is in such wonderful hands.<br><br>The communication with parents is fantastic. The educators are always informative and keep me updated throughout the day about what my son is doing, learning, and enjoying. I love that they are constantly teaching him something new every day, and he absolutely loves the play-based learning environment.<br><br>The supervision in the rooms is excellent, with educators always spread out and attentive to the children. You can really see the care, effort, and dedication they put into creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.<br><br>I couldn't be happier with the care my son receives. Nursery Space: 6 weeks – 2 years
Learning starts from before birth, and our Educators have created a welcoming and nurturing nursery environment where each baby feels safe to explore and discover new things - through their senses, their communication and cues (body language, facial expression and sounds) and through experimentation. On any given day you can see the nursery children engaging in all types of play including sensory play, music time, story time and more. Every day provides a brand new, exciting adventure for our babies to support their development, learning and wellbeing.
Toddler Space: 2 - 3 years
Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development. This happens through carefully planned music, dance, games, role playing and reading experiences.
On any given day the Toddlers can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games.
Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. Our skilled team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling.
Preschool Space: 3 – 6 years
Preschool is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Our play-based program has school readiness at its core, encouraging active engagement in learning and supporting a range of positive developmental outcomes including resilience, independence, critical thinking and creativity.
The oral language supports literacy learning and a child’s oral language ability is the best predictor for later success in learning to read and write. Hearing the sounds within a language is the first critical step for all literacy learning. Our team supports our Preschool children's literacy development by engaging in rich discussions, reading, storytelling, dramatic play and experimentation all of which introduce new vocabulary as part of everyday conversations.
Throughout the Preschool year, children use their language to share ideas, ask questions, express themselves, and connect with peers and adults in social settings.
Social-emotional skills, including the ability to self-regulate emotions, are supported through group learning experiences. Morning
Mary is 11 months old and enjoys sensory play outside in the sandpit with her friends. She sits near her educator who helps teach her how to scoop the sand into the bucket. Mary is learning how to dig, carry, and move the sand. She is also exploring texture and learning what happens to the sand when she adds water!
Lunch
Mary has finished her lunch and is preparing to take a nap. Her educator changes her nappy, prepares a bottle and reads Mary a story before her afternoon sleep.
Afternoon
Mary and some of her nursery friends enjoy some story time and songs outside in the shaded garden. They read ‘Peepo’ which is Mary’s favourite book.
Morning
Damo is two and a half years old and loves to start his day at the centre outside on the climbing equipment. His friends join him, and together they pretend to be pirates on a ship looking for treasure. Through this exciting dramatic play, Damo is learning about himself and the world around him. Dramatic play is helping Damo identify his interests, abilities, likes and dislikes.
Lunch
Damo is watering the vegetables in the garden. By doing this, Damo is learning the importance of growing and caring for the veggies in the garden. Damo picks a tomato from the garden, which the Chef will use to help make Damo and his friend’s lunch - Spaghetti Bolognese!
Afternoon
Damo enjoys art, and today he is painting a beach scene from a recent family holiday. He adds the finishing touches and sets the painting aside to dry; so that he can take it home to share with his family.
Morning
Jo is almost five years old and can’t wait for today’s carpentry experience - she loves building things! Carpentry experiences allow Jo and her friends to extend their learning through real-life experiences. While participating in carpentry, Jo is learning to problem solve, experiment and predict. She is also improving her hand eye coordination, manipulative skills and muscular strength.
Lunch
Before Jo sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Jo takes part in the centre’s sports program. Jo loves sports. Sports helps Jo improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!). Sports also allows her to practice different skills in a fun and engaging way.
Afternoon
Jo is off to ‘big school’ next year and she can't wait to start! Jo and her friends will be visiting the local primary school next week. In preparation for the visit, the class is creating a list of questions to ask the Principal and school children.
Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. We believe that by encouraging active participation (such as growing their own fruit and vegetables, preparing, and finally cooking!) children learn to appreciate and understand the importance of healthy eating across a wide variety of food.

I would like to share my experience with lithgow first grammar. Our journey started roughly 2011 with some of our beautiful grandchildren we with the staff watched our beautiful grandchildren learn flourish and grow over the years before starting kindergarten. Now we have had the happiness to watch another 2 granddaughters learn enjoy flourish play make friends and bond with others. I must say that 2026 is our final year for any of grandchildren to attend daycare and its not just heartbreaking 💔 for my beautiful granddaughters but also for me .nearly 15.5 years of having non stop enrolment involvement drops off pick up friendships adventures learning help smiles laughter and memories. Thank you kindly first grammar lithgow for a truly wonderful experience learning and friendship made ❤️. As our last granddaughter starts kindergarten in 2027 I promise that the connection and friendship will still remain fresh in our hearts souls memories laughter and tears . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ once again thank you for all the beautiful memories each of you have created with each of my granddaughters

Unfortunately, I’ve become really concerned about the care here, especially since the change in management. I do want to make it clear that Carolyn in preschool room is wonderful and none of this is about her, she’s welcoming, takes the time to talk to us and gives proper updates about our child’s day. We really appreciate her kindness and effort.<br><br>Sadly, our experience with the other preschool staff has been very different. I’ve heard staff yelling at children and speaking harshly to them at drop-off and pickup, including snapping at my own child. I’ve also seen a large drum being banged to get the children to be quiet as they yell at the children theyre being "too loud", and we have heard staff yelling in the toddler room too with harsh tones. I’ve seen children in the bathroom there with the door wide open and no educator in sight, which worries me about both supervision and their privacy.<br><br>My child has had scratches from other children that nobody has told us about yet we’re just told it’s been a “good day”, if they speak to us at all. My child no longer wants to attend most days. It’s really upsetting to leave your child somewhere when they feel this way. The new manager has also come across as rude and dismissive, or sends us to the assistant manager, who is lovely, but we’re still left without clear answers as she is also new.<br><br>I really hope these concerns are taken seriously and things improve. Children deserve to feel safe and be spoken to kindly, and families deserve to know what’s happening during the day.<br>specially considering the price, I expected much better.

The centre is well run by Stacey and the team. My son attended the 0-2 room and we were really happy with the attentive educators. We loved the daily photos and learning stories and were always updated on how his day had been. He loved the food and the centres resources. He was always happy upon pick up and often wanted to stay and play. Unfortunately due to family circumstances we had to leave the centre and town but I couldn’t recommend this centre enough. Thanks you to the amazing educators for making our family feel safe, secure and supported during our time at the centre.

We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s daycare. The educators are caring, attentive and create such a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe and supported. Our daughter has grown so much in confidence, her learning has sky rocketed and absolutely loves attending. A special mention to the new Centre Manager, Stacey! she has been absolutely amazing as a educator and now care manager. Since stepping into the role, she has brought such a positive energy, professionalism and genuine care for both the children and families. She is approachable, organised and clearly passionate about creating the best environment possible. Her communication has been excellent and you can really see the positive impact she’s having on the centre. We’re so grateful to have found a daycare we trust and highly recommend it to any families looking for quality care for their children.
