After I realised that my son, Daniel had additional needs, I began searching for a preschool where he would not only receive the support he needed but also feel safe and included. I was incredibly fortunate to find Uniting Frederick Street Preschool.<br><br>From my very first visit, I was impressed. Alex, the Director, welcomed me warmly, took the time to show me around the centre, and answered all of my questions. I left that visit feeling that this was the right place for Daniel, and I can honestly say that feeling was absolutely right.<br><br>The team has been exceptional. Daniel has three dedicated educators who work together to support him in achieving his goals while ensuring his safety at all times, particularly as he has balance difficulties and is unsteady on his feet. Their patience, kindness, and genuine care have made an enormous difference to my family.<br><br>Daniel absolutely loves preschool. He settled in very quickly and enjoys participating in a wide range of activities. He especially loves exploring and confidently moving between the indoor and outdoor learning environments, where he feels happy, supported, and free to learn at his own pace.<br><br>As a parent of a child with additional needs, finding a preschool that truly understands inclusion is invaluable. I am so grateful to the entire team for creating such a nurturing, welcoming, and supportive environment. I highly recommend Uniting Frederick Street Preschool to any family.

I've put 2 of my toddlers (3 and 6yrs now) through Uniting Frederick at different times and they're just the best. Educators who nurture the kids and encourage learning through play, writeups in the app to track milestones, plenty of activities and variety of outdoor activities, excursions to the nursing home next door or Rockdale library. Kids might be dropped off crying or timid (as they sometimes can be) but you'll pick them up with smiles on their faces. Usually spots right outside or along the hill for dropoff and pickup. 4pm pickups.

Uniting Frederick Street is a great preschool, I've been made welcome since the tour at inquiry and my child had been on the waitlist. I am so glad we waited and got a spot for her - The Director and all educators are kind and welcoming to parents and specially the kids. My daughter is so happy going to school and even on her way home. Her learning plan is individualised, you could tell the team had taken their time to know my daughter. Thanks so much team for everything you do for Nikole and all kids in the preschool over the years!

My daughter absolutely loves her time at United Frederick Preschool. Since starting, her confidence has grown so much, and it’s been amazing to see how excited she is to attend each week. She’s always coming home with new skills, stories, and a big smile on her face. The staff are incredibly warm, patient, and genuinely care about every child’s development. They create such a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. As a parent, it’s so reassuring to know she’s in such good hands.
