All 4 of my children have attended Ku Peninsula over the last 14 years. I cannot speak highly enough about the amazing staff and wonderful centre. They have been especially helpful with my youngest 2 children and their special needs. They gave gone above and beyond and truly feel like family to us.

I have been part of the KU Peninsula community for 16 years, with all of my children attending this wonderful centre. My youngest will be leaving in December 2025, and I wanted to express my deepest appreciation and thanks to the entire KU Peninsula team for their outstanding care, patience, guidance, and nurturing over the years. The dedication and professionalism of the educators have played a crucial role in shaping my children’s early learning experiences. The supportive environment they provide has helped my children develop a genuine love for learning and beautiful lifelong memories from their early years. What sets KU Peninsula apart is its educational philosophy — one that values play, exploration, and engagement over rigid, structured learning. The educators truly understand that children learn best through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful interactions. My youngest child began their journey with some challenges, and the KU Peninsula team supported both of us with incredible compassion and understanding. Their commitment went beyond teaching; they walked beside us every step of the way. For that, I am forever grateful — “thank you” hardly feels enough.

About KU Peninsula Preschool

UPDATE: KU Peninsula is now a NSW state funded community preschool. Daily fees are reduced and will not be means tested.

KU Peninsula Preschool operates Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:00 during school terms.

KU Peninsula goes beyond childcare. We create a safe and nurturing environment where childhood is celebrated.

We are proud of our longstanding reputation of providing rich education and care tailored to each child’s needs in a family-focussed and supportive way.

Our highly experienced and dedicated teachers and educators build strong, trusting relationships with each child, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence.

KU Peninsula offers an inviting natural environment with a large outdoor play area where children play, explore and experience new learning opportunities. Located in the heart of Tanilba Bay, we are proud of our strong links with the local community.

When children play and explore, their imagination and curiosity are sparked – they enjoy learning and are inspired to continue learning more.

Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

We have a strong connection with our local community, with regular outings to our local nursing home, primary school, waterfront and koala habitat. This nurtures a sense of belonging and deeply enhances children’s understanding of where they live and the shared values within it.

KU Peninsula has been independently assessed by the NSW Department of Education, and are proud to be rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard.
