As the Approved Provider, I believe that the early years are the most influential in extending and enriching children’s development and education. I believe in a program that has a foundation of learning through play, both indoors and outdoors, in which children are encouraged to make choices and extend their own learning. I also recognise the importance of families, being the primary influence in a child’s life. I aim to continually develop and maintain collaborative and open partnerships with all families and as such promote an open-door policy. At Discover and Learn Academy I have a passionate and dedicated team of educators who are invested in each child’s wellbeing. Their constant positivity and hard work make our centre an incredible working environment. We work together to form a team that respects and values each other as well as share knowledge and skills to provide an environment where children feel safe but are also challenged.

School Readiness Program

Our School Readiness Program is designed to equip young learners with the essential skills and confidence they need for a smooth transition into formal schooling. Through a nurturing and engaging curriculum, children from birth to 6 years develop foundational academic skills, social-emotional competencies, and effective learning habits. Our program emphasises hands-on activities, interactive learning, and group support to ensure every child is well-prepared and excited for their educational journey.

Specialized School Transition Program

Our Specialised School Transition Program provides tailored support to help children the year prior to going into formal schooling to navigate the shift from one educational setting to another. Our program offers guidance as well as skill-building activities. We focus on easing anxiety, enhancing adaptation skills, and fostering a positive attitude towards change, ensuring a seamless and successful transition for each child.
