Walking into this big, beautiful centre, you’d naturally think you’re giving your child the very best care. But don’t let the fancy building fool you. This place is sitting well below the National Quality Standard, it’s had an emergency action notice issued, and what that notice actually implies is genuinely concerning. The staff turnover is catastrophic, there are a lot of blind spots, and good luck trying to find your child in the afternoon half the time the staff are out looking for them too when you arrive to pick up. The centre used to run at full capacity with a long waitlist, but now they’re continually looking for new enrolments because families keep walking away. Do your homework on Starting Blocks, and check the local parenting groups on Facebook that’s where the real stories come out. You’ll see the male owner has been known to call a concerned parent a troll in response to issues raised in a post. How a centre this size and this expensive can run at such abysmal standards is beyond me.

Excellent daycare with great educators and management. Two of my children attend this centre and we have had a wonderful experience. We love the extremely large outdoor play area, it feels like a world of its own for the children. I also really appreciate the thoughtful design, with small outdoor areas accessible directly from the rooms and separate eating areas. It sets a great example for healthy eating habits and helps create structure rather than having all activities happen in the same room.

We are extremely happy with Fitkidz. My son Kabir has been attending this centre for the last three years, and Fitkidz has truly become like his second family. The centre has a large, well-designed space with many challenging and engaging activities that support children’s learning and development. The outdoor environment is outstanding with a big yard, water play areas, a sky walk yard, and a jumping pillow. There are so many outdoor learning opportunities that help children learn through play and exploration. Kabir absolutely loves coming here and has grown so much in confidence, skills, and independence. A big thank you to all the educators for their dedication, care and continuous support. We are very grateful to be part of the Fitkidz family.

Couldn’t recommend Fitkidz Rouse hill more! My son settled in so well with the genuine love and care from his educators, he goes in and leaves with a smile on his face every time he attends.

My daughter (4 years old) attends the Leaping Leopards room at Fit Kidz Rouse Hill, and she absolutely loves it! From the very first day, the educators made her feel welcome, safe, and excited to come in. The team are warm, professional, and genuinely care about each child’s wellbeing and development. They create fun, engaging activities that help the children learn new skills while also building confidence and friendships. I can see how much my daughter has grown in her independence, creativity, and social skills since joining. Communication with families is excellent – the educators always share updates, photos, and reflections, which makes me feel connected to her day. The rooms and outdoor play areas are also very well set up, safe, and inviting. Most importantly, my daughter is happy every morning to go in and comes home with a big smile, telling me about her day. That peace of mind is priceless as a parent. Not a good childcare. Owner's leadership & independence is compromised. After serious findings by govt officials regarding an employee who is currently under investigation for serious offences, parents suggested few options to Owner, his response was “I rather sell the Centre”. No regard for families & kids. That’s the arrogance Owner carries. Low compliance centre, if you make strong complaints, your emails/you will be classified as rude & abusive & will terminate your child.Owner's response will be you don’t like KFC don’t eat instead eat Big Mac. While he is enjoying govt subsidies & in business of child safety not selling hot chips. Our toddler got terminated because we asked tough questions after back to back incidents. Centre showed poor leadership, arrogant behaviour, unprofessional response & when challenged they took the weak path of termination. Recently more complaints from other parents: child missing from room, beads in toddlers mouth on multiple occasions. As per National Quality standard, Centre is currently at “Working Towards” Standard. Ask mgmt what measures they are taking to improve & when are they are anticipating to get to “Meet Standard” Lvl, Owner will blame govt for bad rating & rating system. Our toddler had a heavy furniture fell on her while educators were present in room. That item was almost 20 kg, suggest risk mitigation to owner & he will make it sound nothing happened. Instead he said he will remove the wheels of item & will be putting it back in room & wont be secured against the wall. Don’t think as parent you wanna hear this. Can this be called intimidation. If an incident hasn’t happened in past it doesn’t guarantee it wont happen in future. Risk mgmt & mitigation must be ongoing process & when it happens you must ensure it doesn’t happen again. Removing wheels of same furniture doesn’t guarantee it won’t fall again. Ask for incident report with weight of item on that report & photos, you will never get that report. You inform him that you will be reporting to Dept of Education, next thing he does is send you Termination letter straightaway. Then you see a staff member alone with 4 kids in the room, you inform them of poilcy breach. You won’t hear from them for 2 days on serious breach. They won’t acknowledge mistake. They leaked private and confidential information. Anyone who experienced same behaviour or noticed something unusual please report. Currently working with Education Dept for breaches & Local Court/Tribunal for termination matter. As per my previous emails it is your centre and we are here to follow your centres rules guided by Australian Govt legislation and funded by Govt subsidies. It is your decision to put type of furniture you want. If I see any unsafe practice in your centre I will report to your management whether you like or dislike, agree or disagree.If I feel the need to escalate I will do so by following legislative procedures. I will be very proactive from now on. Please feel free to take decisions out of our hands, but please be very clear I will once again use all rights within the legislative procedures. So seeing your responses I have decided to escalate this matter and previous matters to the Government Body. I will make it easier for everyone. See you on Tuesday at 2pm. Can not fault this preschool- absolutely brilliant!! The teachers go above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe, valued and loved. There are endless opportunities provided for the kids that promote learning, imagination and excitement. They are always brilliant with communication, and are very welcoming and friendly at drop off and pick up time. I feel confident knowing my daughter is getting an amazing, wholesome preschool experience that will set her up for the future. The best part is the memories she is making that will last a lifetime.
