My daughter has attended Only About Children for over a year. She is in her first year of kindergarten now. The facilities are great; clean, age appropriate, interactive. The activities are brilliant. The children do art, there’s a sports class, obstacle courses, toys such as animals, sensory, house play, shapes and building. They read stories, learn about different cultures, sing songs and dance. But one of my daughter’s favourite aspects of the care is what she learns. She’s learnt about the body, solar system, dinosaurs, how things grow, choices. And she really is understanding what they’re teaching her through songs, art, puzzles and demonstration because it makes for great bed time conversations where she is keen to explain to me these different aspects of the world.<br><br>They helped with toilet training and provide small toilets and teach proper hand cleaning.<br><br>Every member of staff from the front door to the kitchen and all the class rooms in between are friendly, calm, kind and genuinely interested in the well being of the children. I’ve had many different conversations about different issues such as my daughter’s speech to touring primary schools and they’ve always had the time to talk and given me great input and advice. Also organising a specialist to observe my daughter as we were a little concerned about her stuttering.<br><br>OAC is a beautiful inside and out, safe and caring environment and I recommend their services.

We’ve had a great experience with Only About Children. The staff are so friendly and caring, and the communication has always been really good. We love getting updates about Agustín’s day and seeing everything he’s learning.<br><br>Since starting, Agustín has become so much more confident, independent and social, and it’s been amazing to watch him learn new things. Great centre all round - great facilities, resources and range of activities. The educators are kind, caring, and nurturing. My child has been happy there since joining in 2024. The manager is great, actually listens, takes feedback onboard and cares for the children well being. Low staff turnover. Always accommodating and flexible.

Since joining OAC Elsternwick I have been made to feel part of a family. My baby is cared for, supported and loved… leaving me with no hesitation leaving her. She has the best time at daycare.

My two children have attended OAC Elsternwick so we have been fortunate enough to experience the baby room, toddler 1, toddler 2 and the preschool room. I have continuously been impressed by the love and care both my children have received in all of the rooms, how attentive the educators have been, how enthusiastic they are towards our children’s wellbeing. My kids have always loved going and I know I can drop them off with full confidence in the team. They have my gratitude and deep appreciation for their ongoing hard work. The relay of information is smooth and consistent, we are always kept in the loop. The education is of the highest standard and my preschooler started school this year with her best foot forward thanks to the amazing preparation given to her here.

My child started at OAC Elsternwick in Jan 2026. The team has been so wonderful during the transition, he is so happy and confident now. My son loves his room educators and socializing with the children.

Both kids of mine have been there from 6 months old - primary school and even though we moved further from the center we couldn’t bring ourselves to change Childcares . The team are absolutely amazing and the attention to detail by the staff makes us feel so comfortable having our children there . Will be sad to finish up at OAC but forever thankful for the nurturing environment they have provided our two boys .

My daughter has been going here since she was 10 months old and is now in Pre-School. Over the past 4 years she has grown and developed so much thanks to the amazing teachers and all the fun activities. She absolutely loves it there! When my son came along, we didn’t hesitate to send him too. He started at 10 months and has been there for the past year – he’s already learning so much and loves seeing his big sister each day. The staff are caring, supportive and create such a wonderful environment. We’re so grateful to have found a place that feels like a second home for our kids. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with only about children Elsternwick for our 2 children. The staff are incredibly caring and many have been there since we started over 3 years ago which is very reassuring. They nursery staff have gone above and beyond helping our baby settle into the nursery room. Highly recommend!
