We’ve had such a positive experience with Journey Early Learning. After touring multiple childcare centres, they were the first team who truly took the time to engage with our daughter at her level from the very beginning, which immediately stood out. During our tour, she comfortably stayed with one of the educators for around 15 minutes—right in the middle of peak separation anxiety—which honestly spoke volumes about how safe and supported she felt. They also implemented a thoughtful and well-structured orientation process that made her transition into childcare seamless. It wasn’t rushed or overwhelming; it felt genuinely tailored to her needs. Even though she’s only been there for two months, we’ve already seen such beautiful growth in her development, and she genuinely seems so happy going in each day. We receive regular updates and posts about her daily routine—from nappies to meals—which is so reassuring, especially if you’re someone who likes to stay across everything. They also provide a monthly story that tracks her progress and development goals, which makes you feel really involved in her journey. Overall, the educators feel incredibly hands-on, and the centre has such a warm, family-oriented environment. The team at Journey are so warm and welcoming. From my very first enquiry, I felt at home and confident my kids would be happy here. We have been at the centre for over a year now and I am consistently impressed. One of the standout aspects of Journey, compared to other centres, is its small size. There are around a maximum of 45 children across three rooms on any given day, and often fewer than that. It genuinely feels homey rather than like a big, impersonal “shopping centre”. The team are also incredibly flexible with casual bookings, which makes a huge difference as working parents. That flexibility significantly reduces the stress that comes with the unpredictability of balancing work and family life.

My son started at Journey Early Learning Templestowe in the nursery and is about to transition to kinder room. Roshini and her team have been amazing in supporting his development from baby to toddler, and helping him become his own creative, inquisitive and caring little person. The kindness and enthusiasm shown by every one of the educators makes drop off easier knowing that he’s surrounded by people who genuinely care about him, and there is a lovely sense of community that comes with being a smaller centre. My daughter is due to start in the nursery room this year - with many of the same educators who looked after her brother! - and looking forward to a similar positive experience for her as she grows. Absolutely would recommend this centre if you’re in the area ☺️

JELT has made the transition for our first little one starting daycare this year so smooth and comforting. Our little one had just turned two when he first started, and after just a few transitional weeks he settled in really well and bonded with Lead Educator Eloise so quickly. Her commitment and compassion made the transition for both of us as smooth as possible. The educators pay such close attention to each child's needs and interests, and over the last few months I have only positive feedback for the JELT team. Our little guy absolutely loves going to daycare and it helps so much to know that he feels comfortable and has a sense of belonging.

Thank you so much for giving the love and patience to our child in the past year. The educators worked really well with our external providers (our kid has special education needs) - they are always supportive, open and communicating.
