At Imagine Childcare, we proudly deliver a high-quality Kindergarten Program designed to help children grow in confidence, build important skills, and feel well prepared for their transition to school.

Led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, our play-based program incorporates the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).

Through purposeful play, intentional teaching and engaging learning experiences, children develop essential literacy, numeracy, communication, problem-solving, social and emotional skills.

Our Early Childhood Teachers take the time to understand each child’s interests, strengths and individual learning needs, tailoring experiences to support their development and help them progress at their own pace.

Families benefit from a high-quality kindergarten education delivered within the convenience of our long day care setting. Our flexible hours provide greater choice for families while allowing children to learn in a familiar environment, surrounded by trusted Educators and established friendships.

Families can feel confident knowing their child is receiving a recognised kindergarten education that builds the skills, confidence and foundations they need for school and beyond.

Healthy eating is an important part of every child’s growth, wellbeing and learning. Our nutritious meals are freshly prepared onsite each day by our dedicated in-house chef.

Children enjoy a variety of balanced meals, including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks. Our seasonal menus introduce children to new flavours and foods while supporting positive eating habits and a lifelong appreciation for nutritious food.

Mealtimes are calm, connected and intentional. Children gather together, practise independence and build confidence in a supportive and unhurried environment. They are not simply times to eat, but valuable opportunities for belonging, conversation, social connection and learning.

We cater for a range of dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences, ensuring every child can safely enjoy wholesome and inclusive meals.

All meals are included in the daily fee, giving families the convenience and peace of mind of knowing their child is well nourished, happy and ready to learn each day.

Your child’s safety, wellbeing and happiness are at the heart of everything we do at Imagine Childcare.

We provide a secure and nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected and heard, giving them the confidence to learn, play and explore while families enjoy peace of mind.

Our centre has a secure electronic kiosk for signing children in and out, with unique PIN access helping to ensure children are collected only by authorised individuals. Pin-pad door codes also restrict access into the centre, providing an additional level of security.

CCTV operates in every classroom and throughout the centre, supporting our commitment to child safety, active supervision and accountability.

We also have up to five additional Educators above minimum staffing ratios across the centre. This supports closer supervision, stronger relationships and more personalised care throughout the day. With more Educators available, children benefit from increased engagement, responsive support and learning environments where their individual needs are recognised.

Through strong child-safe practices, secure access measures, CCTV monitoring and exceptional staffing, we create a welcoming environment where children feel secure, families feel reassured and every child has the opportunity to thrive.

At Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Templestowe Lower, our curriculum is intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. We combine the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the Abecedarian Approach Australia, and the Victorian Government-approved Kindergarten Program to deliver rich, play-based learning experiences that support every stage of your child’s development.

Our Educators thoughtfully plan experiences that build strong foundations in language, literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and social-emotional development, while also nurturing creativity, independence, and resilience. Learning is embedded throughout the day and guided by each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs.

Through intentional teaching, meaningful conversations, and hands-on exploration, children are encouraged to investigate the world around them, develop critical thinking skills and build strong relationships with peers and educators.
