Welcome to Highvale Primary School
Highvale Primary School is located in the leafy eastern suburb of Glen Waverley. Our school provides a caring, safe and dynamic learning environment in an attractive, quiet, parkland setting.
We are a high performing, medium sized school, where each student is supported to fulfill their potential, academically, socially, and physically. Our current enrolment of 340 students is supported by a team of professional, enthusiastic, dedicated teachers and support staff who pride themselves on knowing and valuing each student individually.
Our strong sense of community is achieved through significant family engagement supported by our parents, local organisations, and businesses.
Our reputation for excellence is derived from our focus on high quality, evidence-based teaching and ‘best effort’ translating to student achievement levels which are amongst the highest in the state. Our teaching and learning programs are designed to engage all students, provide choice, and promote opportunity and a genuine love of learning. Organisers at venues frequented by Highvale students regularly remark that our pupils are a pleasure to host. To learn more we invite you to visit our Principal’s Welcome and Educational Rationale.
Highvale Primary School is accredited under the Department of Education’s CRICOS registration (CRICOS provider name and code: Department of Education, 00861K). For more information, see: www.study.vic.gov.au
